I was 7-8 years old (2005) when this song was released and it was the first song that proved to me that I liked the Rock/Metal genre more than pop or rap. Baris (the name of the singer) quickly became one of my favorite if not my favorite artists before dying in 2007 in a car accident.
I remember when I found out about his death and how sad I was. I remember coming home from school in my school uniform, very hungry and tired, one thing in mind; to eat and listen to some music and relax. As usual, I ate and opened the T.V. only to find out the tragic death of Baris Akarsu. He died in a car accident because his girlfriend at the time wanted to drive his car drunk and he let her. This news saddened me very much because yes I liked his music and I listened to him closely, but also because he wouldn't come up with any new songs, or I and everyone will one day forget about this great artist who was nothing but nice to everyone.
After his death, many of his songs got attention but this song in particular didn't for a long time but I kept listening to it because not only did it make me feel strong and happy, it also made me realize how great the song actually was. Every time, even now when I listen to it, it only gets better.
The video currently has 24million views but I bet I am responsible for couple of millions of that number.
Unfortunately, this song is in Turkish and I doubt anyone will understand it. It will though, every time I hear it, will make me happy.
