My name is Juan David Guarin Mora,I am twenty seven years old, I am from Sogamoso Boyacá, I am a student and worker, I am a single and I do not have children . I am studying industrial engineering and in my free time I like to take a ride on my motorcycle and play games on my cell phone too

 

Description of my residence

 

I live in Sogamoso, Boyaca, I live with my parents, a sister and a nephew. We live in an apartament in 402 with Access to the elevator, it is located in the center of the city. Our apartament consists of tree romos with closet, kitchen, living, room with laundry. We have a very friendly neighborhood it is very safe.

 

Description of my routine

 

I get up at 7:00 o´clock in the morning, I take a shower at 7:10 AM, I have breakfast at 7:45 AM, fruit, Orange juice, eggs and chocolate. Always I go to work by motorcycle. I usually lunch at 1:30 in the afternoon. Like rice, vegetable, proteins and juice. I sometimes get home at 8:30 PM, after work I start doing university work and then I watch Netflix series. For dinner I prepare something light, a coffee with a sándwich at 9:00PM, Finally I go to sleep at 11:00 PM. On weekends I do university work, in the afternoon I am with my family sharing

¿Qué aprendí de esta tarea?

Aprendí el uso del verbo TO BE y los conectores para la creación de los párrafos de mi presentación personal, la descripción de donde vivo y mi rutina diaria también como la puntuación y palabras nuevas para mi 

 

 ¿Es importante lo que estoy aprendiendo? 

Claramente es muy importante 

¿Por qué? 

Porque hoy en día casi todo lo que tenemos que tiene manual está en inglés, lo que compramos que tenga etiqueta la mayoría está en inglés, al escuchar música o ver películas esta el o en idioma ingles lo cual si es muy importante aprender mas de este idioma y dominar su pronunciación y como se escribe mas que eso entenderlo 

 

¿Cómo aporta este aprendizaje a mi vida personal y profesional? 

Este aprendizaje aporta en mi vida personal como en la profesional a entender este idioma para abrirme nuevas oportunidades ya sea de trabajo o para visitar otros países donde se hable este idioma para poder socializar con nuevas personas dentro de estos países

In my free time, I like to drive my motorcycle and I also play video games. finally I do homework and rest 

 What are the main touristic places in your city or town? 

The main touristic places in Sogamoso are the Archaeological Museum, the Monument to the Sun the Santa Barbara viewpoint, the Sogamoso theater, the hidrosogamoso dam and the San Martin de Tours catedral.

- What is the typical food in your city?

 The typical food in my city is the Boyacense stew, covered rice, lamb´s head and stew, peasant stew, roast lamd ribs, pork chops, small porridge, sausage, and fritanga

What are the main ingredients of the typical food?

 is prepared with with, vetch, abas, navos, avocado, corno n the cob, lamd ribs, pork chop and Creole potatoes with sausage

 What are the main celebrations in your city/town?

 The main celebrations in my city are: the festivities of the sun and Steel, the celebration of the Virgen del Carmen, on September 6, the date dedicated to Sogamoseñidad, to the virtues, industriousness and attachment to the great causes of the Colombian homeland of the noble and enterprising people of Sogamoseño

- What do people do in those celebrations? 

People usually make parades of floats and troupes also parades of horses and classic cars, they also burn gunpowder

What activities can visitors do in your city or town?

 In my city visitors can: see all the parades of horses and floats and comparsas can also enjoy the cuisine of the región and participate in the concerts that are held 

In Sogamoso there are important tourist places such as the Archaeological Museum, the Monument to the Sun the Santa Barbara viewpoint, the Sogamoso theater, there is also the hidrosogamoso dam and the San Martin de Tours catedral.

¿Preparé y dediqué suficiente tiempo para realizar una buena presentación oral en el video y/o en el encuentro sincrónico? 

En cuanto al video, me falto más dedicación puesto que es un punto muy importante para la pronunciación y así mismo para el trabajo 

¿Me siento más seguro de expresarme Oralmente en inglés?

Puedo mejorar, pero si estoy con más confianza para expresarme en ingles

Este ejercicio aporta en mi vida tanto personal y profesional, para expresarme o entenderle a alguien que sea extranjero y/o cuando viaje entender y saber de este idioma tan importante que es fundamental aprenderlo
