His people prayed for something to do for him. A horrible monster came they fought for days on end. Then they became friends, they went to the woods to fight a demon. They won but before the demon died he put a curse on Gilgamesh's friend. days later Gilgamesh's friend died. So he knew he could die so he went on a search for immortality. He fought the stone men at the waters of death then a man came out of the shadows and said what do you seek. Gilgamesh said he wanted to go across the water. The man said the stone men were the only ones that could touch the water. So he had to cut down one thousand trees to make ores and with every paddle one ore burned up. When they made it to the island a man said i got immortality from the gods. His wife said give hi ma chance honey. So they gave him a challenge he had to stay awake for seven days. He accepted and then fell asleep for seven days. When he woke up they said you failed. Then they told him about the plant at the bottom of the sea that would make you stay young forever. He went to the bottom of the ocean and grabbed the plant then he came up and a snake took it.
