Issues in our world today

Many people walk in hunger, but they do not have to. Hunger is a huge problem in our world today and as food prices increase, so does hunger. Research says: "The average monthly grocery cost for a family of four in the US typically ranges from $1,044.70 to $1,568.10, according to the USDA." (Google). Many people have to pay for groceries, gas, rent, and childcare. Food is fuel and our goal is to help those get the food they need for free.

Our Objectives

As a new foundation, we have 3 main objectives:

Get everyone fed. Now this goal is our mission, but it is important. As an organization, we hold food drives and participate in soup kitchens.
Get everyone clothes. Clothes are a need in our organization and we accept all donations. Winter coats and summer shoes are always accepted so we can help people during any time of the year!
Get involved everywhere. We feel that it is important to get everyone involved, everywhere. Everyone is welcome to volunteer to help collect and help others. We want to open "Fuel for Familes" nationwide and that will be happening soon.

How we achieve our objectives:

Objective 1: We will be holding food drives every week to give everyone the opportunity to donate food. We collect as much as we can and donate that to shelters and across the state.

Objective 2: We hold clothing drives on the week and weekend to make sure everyone has an opportuinity to donate their fairly used clothes and shoes to us. Our team inspects all the clothes to make sure our families in need get the proper items.

Objective 3: We post on social media and word of mouth to get everyone involved. So far, we have gotten families and young people involved in helping run our drives. Sucess!

Who will benefit?

Everyone will benefit. Our volunteers and employees benefit from helping their community and the people who are less fortunate get their fuel.

Our organization hopes it shows solidarity. The work and dedication our team puts into helping their community doesn't go unnoticed. This organization was built on catholic values like loving thy neighbor and always helping others. Our community recognizes how helpful Fuel for Families is and cherishes the values.
