         <description><![CDATA[<div>My line of work involves a lot of OH&amp;S (occupational health and safety) regulations - my role involves taking care of moving cargo and people, which means I'm always around heavy equipment and vehicles. I have friends in similar situations and they would tell me accidents that happen in their workplace because they're not given ample time to prepare for the day before their supervisors come around to tell them to start working - and supervisors aren't reprimanded at all for this behavior.</div>]]></description>

For example, I learned that stress management is under the scope of HR teams, as well as preventing cumulative trauma disorders that come with unhealthy working postures (such as wrongly postured backs, shoulders, arms, hands, legs, and so forth). Being aware of potential hazards that include chemical exposure as well as workplace violence/bullying are also under the scope of HR (Human Resources Management, 2016).</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I learned that bullying in the workplace can affect anyone. We all know them or know about them, jerks and bullies at work who demean, criticize, and drain the energy of others. We even learned that there are certain professions that are more prone to it as well as certain shifts. For example, people who work nights are more prone to harassment and bullying. But, in the end is the managers and company's responsibility to provide the grounds for  a systemic approach of creating a culture that's positive and respectful while improving the bottom line. <br>Transforming the culture to support the strategy and mission of the company is the real skill of leadership. Whether it is in the form of outbursts, irrational demands, griping, and other disruptions bullying needs to be dealt with—and it’s your responsibility as a leader to do it. <br><br></div>]]></description>
