Each rose-colored room of our gorgeous establishment is accompanied by its own heavy walnut bed as well, perfect to sleep your nights away. Miss Emily's beloved suitor found it so lovely, he stayed here for decades!

Miss Emily, who had previously inhabited the house, was a beauty when she was younger but grew to be a grotesque figure. "Her skeleton was small and spare.. She looked bloated, like a body long submerged in motionless water, and of that pallid hue. Her eyes, lost in the fatty ridges of her face, moved from one face to another.."

Now you have the opportunity to sleep in the very bed Emily kept her deceased lover. It is said that the towns folk found him with a "profound and fleshless grin. The body apparently once lain in the attitude of embrace, but now the long sleep that outlasts love, that conquers even the grimace of love, had cuckolded him." If you're looking for the ultimate haunted honeymoon, this is an offer for you.

Miss Emily's house was handed down to her from her father who died when she was still young. After meeting her lover Homer Barron, she no longer felt alone, but was determined not to let another him leave her. So one day she approached a druggist. "She was still thirty then, still a slight woman, though thinner than usual, with cold, haughty black eyes in a face the flesh of which was strained across the temples and about the eye sockets as you imagine a lighthouse keeper's ought to look. 'I want some poison' she said." Emily would use this poison to kill her lover and keep his body for years to come.
