Birth rate

There are various reasons some countries have high birth rates, like Angola's 17% birth rate compared to Canada's and Italy's under 5% birth rate, but the main reason is that in countries like Angola, children are needed to work and are seen as cheap labor. On the other hand, in countries like Canada, having kids is not affordable because of how high the economy is.

Life expectancy

The main reason for low life expectancy is the lack of proper healthcare systems in countries like Angola. We see that they have a lower life expectancy due to the lack of good healthcare that country has, unlike Canada and Italy, which have good healthcare systems and happen to have a longer life expectancy.

The main reason that some countries have higher dependency loads than others is simply that they have more old or young people not eligible to work yet, like Angola with 47.45. We see that they have such a high dependency because 44.8% of Angolans are kids, making them unqualified to work, unlike countries like Canada and Italy. After all, they have a lot of young and old people, so that gives them lots of people who are eligible to work, giving them smaller dependency loads.

Why do we care

Birth rates: The reason we should care about birth rates is because they determine the whole future of a country. The more kids people have, the more people there will be working, and kids will be taking care of old people. Essentially, it tells us how many people we will have helping/running the world in a couple of years, so to summarize, the birth rate is important to have a striving society in the future.

Life expectancy: The reason life expectancy is important to society is because it tells us various things, but the two most important things are how long you have left and how long the average old person has left. Knowing when you are going to die or the maximum amount of time you have to live is important because it tells us how our healthcare systems function. If we are living a long time, it has a lot to do with good healthcare, and you want to make sure you live in an area with great healthcare because healthcare affects all age groups.

Dependency load: The reason we care about dependency load is that it tells us the number of people who are eligible to work. The reason this is important is that the people who are working affect life for everybody. If you have a bad dependency load, then you will be forced to work longer and also start working early to support our country, and the longer and earlier you start working, the lower your life expectancy becomes.
