Summary Marjorie De la Torre and Jessica Esparza

In December 1997, there was an international conference on global warming which was in Kyoto, Japan. Many people wanted to go to Kyoto for the conference with the scientists. Ben Matthews thought "flying is the most convenient way to travel from London to Kyoto, but airplanes make more pollution per person than cars." To reduce pollution he thought that people need to change the way they live, he exposed some examples such as: travel by bycicle, train/ferry, boat althought these ways of travel can delay the time to arrive other place or country but it is better because it reduce pollution.
To sum up if we take care the enviroment and change our ways of live, we could get a better world without pollution and we will be healthier.
