When I was born

On October 17, 2012 I was born in UNC Chapel Hill Hospital. I was born at 9:05 am on a cold, breezy day, and sunny day. When I was born I was 8 pounds and 9 inches long. My dad and my grandparents were there while my Aunt and older siblings were at home. My dad named me "Amee" because my great grandma was named "Amy" and she was very special to him.

My new house

In 2016 I found out that we were moving. Once I found out, I was really sad because I have lived there since I was a baby. It was a sunny day when we got to our new house, and I realized we had more land.When I got in the new house it was dirty and smaller than my old house. My new house was tight and there was a lot of sand outside.

My first time at Seaworld

In 2018, my family and I went to Seaworld in Florida for the first time. On a sunny and hot day I went to my very first big roller coaster. It was dark and then there was a drop where we got wet and it went super fast. On the roller coaster I went with my mom and it was super fun. We saw Dolphins and Killer whales where we also got wet.

My Grandma passing away

At around 1:00 AM my mom gets up and gets a call from my aunt and says that my grandma has passed away, but I didn't know why she was crying yet. My mom started to cry, and I didn't know till it was 7:00 AM. When my sister told me that my grandma passed away when we were in my mom's room I started to cry because my grandma was very special to me. It was a gloomy day on her funeral; everyone she knew was there and she was loved by everyone.

My first bike

When I was 6 or 7 years old, I wanted to ride a bike because my siblings had bikes. I wanted to ride a bike because I thought they were cool. So, I begged my dad if could get one and he said yes. One sunny morning I woke up and my parents weren't there, so I assumed that they went to eat breakfast. So, then I go to my living room and watch TV and called me and they were at Walmart and my dad asked what color bike I wanted. The color I chose the color I choose which was pink. Once my parents got to the house my dad was adding air to the wheels and fixing the chair so I could ride it. When my dad was done fixing my bike, I went outside to try it out and at first it was hard to ride but later on it got easier.

Meeting my best friend

When I was in 2nd grade after covid, I decided to go back to school, and it was a chilly and sunny day. That day I only knew a few people from Google Meet and my teacher put me beside a girl named Allison. My teacher told us to pick a partner so we could know someone to talk to throughout the year, so I picked Allison as my partner. Me and Allison had many things in common, so we decided to become friends. Allison and I would go sit together at lunch and do everything together.

My first pet

On February 12, 2022, I got my first dog. After I got back from school my parents said I was getting a dog. On the way to get my dog I was going to pick her name. I choose Winter because I loved the name Winter and the season. Once we got off the car the owner of the puppies told us to pick the dog ourselves. I choose one with blue eyes and a grey back and white coat.

Spelling be participant

One day in class our teacher told us that we were going to have a class spelling bee. I had one the class spelling bee and she asked me if I wanted to be in the spelling bee and I said yes. So, she gave me a list of words to practice on. The day of the spelling bee my class came, and they were going to cheer me on while they were in the auditorium, and I was on stage. There were other students on stage competing to be first place. I had gone through the first and second round, but I had got the word "during" wrong so i didn't get first place.

Mexico trip

On the 26th of May 2024 I was on the plane to Mexico for an emergency. It was my first time out of the country. When I arrived in Mexico it was really hot and sunny, and we went during the summer. In Mexico we stayed with my aunt because my grandma was sick, and we had to take care of her. One place I loved most was Bluewater it was a place where you could get wet in the pools and there were slides you could get on. I had so much fun, but the water was hot because of the heat.

My niece is born

When I was in 5th grade during Christmas break my sister told me and my family that she was going to have a baby and i was so excited. On July 17th, 2024, at 5:27 am my sister's water broke, but it was weird because her baby was due on July 25th. My niece was born at 9:07 pm. I first met her the day after she was born. She was pounds and 8 inches long. Since my niece was small she had to drink baby formula to get bigger and healthier.
