-Identify The Ten Commandments of Computer Ethics
-Insert possible resources (e.g. images, videos, sound) that would aid people in complying with these rules.
-Address the following questions within this information wall.

Question #1

I think a lot of students, and people in general, break the first commandment the most. The first commandment, "thou shalt not use a computer to harm other people," is severely ignored today. Whether it is a computer or another device that allows an internet connection, there are a lot of people out there who intentionally try to cause harm to people, and with that, they are technically cyber bullying. Whether its from trolling, making fun of someone by posting something embarrassing of that person, spreading rumors that can go viral, name calling, shaming, all of that happens everywhere on the internet, and like I said, its not just students. It is everyone.

Question #2

I think violations of the first commandment are done because of the person behind the bullying. A lot of bullies and people in general who attack someone else, psychologically speaking, do it to make themselves higher in the "social ranks." Especially growing up, everyone wants to be cool and fit in, and make a lot of friends, that its easier to pick on the kid that is different because its funny and makes you feel better about yourself. And because you are "being funny", and making others laugh, it raises your social stock in the eyes of others, making people want to talk to you more. It is truly sad that is the way that kids try to be "cool" but, its true. Not to mention if someone is jealous of someone, or just really wants to see them hit an all-time low, of course people are going to resort to petty acts like cyberbullying and spreading rumors online for everyone to see. Its just overall, really sad. As for all of the other commandments, there are just a lot of people out there that want to profit themselves and do not care about anyone else. That is why they steal or put others down, in order to get themselves what they desire and want, be it money, information, blackmail, whatever the case may be. A lot of people in this world, just care about themselves and do not care about anyone else. Not to mention those that just harm others out of pure enjoyment.

Unfortunately, without taking away our first amendment rights, I don't exactly think there is an easy way to eliminate unethical behavior without having access to what everyone else is doing behind the scenes and knowing everything. You can't do that without invading their privacy though, which, a lot of big tech companies do anyway, in their own ways through ethical and legal loopholes, but its only to a certain extent. In order to root out the people who want to cause harm over the internet, you need a full vetting system and invade people's privacy. Unless a societal change magically occurs and we become a utilitarian-utopian society somehow, which is highly unlikely, then I don't see things ever changing.
