#1-My Little Pony Theme Song

This song has become a big thing to me and my best friends. When we first met, two of my friends were completely obsessed with MLP. Since there were four people in our group, we decided to name ourselves "MLP 4" Whenever we're together, we always end up breaking out into this song and than into laughter. I love my friends to the end of the earth and this song reminds me of many amazing memories and stories with them. They continue to remind me to be happier and more grateful for the time we get to spend together. I know when I have a bad day, I can always go talk to them and they will support me through whatever is bothering me.

This song always reminds me of a moment that happened right at the close of my 8th grade year. Our class had an 8th grade luncheon that we could volunteer to speak at. I volunteered to do it, but soon realized that I didn't know what to say. I finally found a draft of a poem that I had written in 6th grade and decided to use that. When I read it to just my class, everyone agreed that I should go last because no one would be able to follow that. (No pressure there, huh?!) I was super nervous prior to speaking it, but I ended up finally going up there and doing it, clutching a microphone tightly in my hand. After I did, the entire audience gave me a standing ovation. That moment always reminds me that someone out there is still cheering for me, and it helps me to be more confident and thorough in all the work that I do.

This is a favorite song that me and my brother share. He is 4 years older than me, but we are still very close. My mom jokes that we have a way better relationship as teens than my mom and uncle did. My brother is very quiet and humble like me, but throughout his high school years he has grown into a caring and amazing person. He's also super funny. Brenden always reminds me to be myself and not let anything stand in my way. He's a senior and i'm going to miss him so much when he goes off to college. <3

This song was the last song I ever sang in the Barnhart School theatre. My 8th grade drama cast was very small, and so we were all very close to each other. I was always very shy in middle school, but theater gave me the chance to try to be someone else for a change. It has helped me to be more outspoken and voice my own ideas. I was in 3 musicals at my old school. I get nervous a lot in life, but when I am on stage and under the spotlight in costume and makeup, I for some reason am never the slightest bit nervous.

I feel like this song represents my theatre class at FSHA. We are very loud all the time but we still believe in each other. I had to create a movement piece from a word for this class. I performed it, and everyone started clapping and cheering. They also made me do it again so they could get it on video. Also, people from theater are always the ones who say hi to me in the halls. This makes me feel so supported and loved in this community and made me realize how much I love this school.
