The world has changed in so many ways but nature still goes on

Days just seem to turn into nights 

Clouds go by and rain continues to fall 

The birds still sing outside my window and the trees are starting to show their green buds.

I see the flowers I planted when the air began to chill, burst through the soil from their wintry sleep to fill the world with color once again. 

The sun feels warm and the air a bit crisp when I venture out to the fenced in yard that is now my only world.

I long for the days of walking down a city street where people went about their days and life went on as it should

For now we live in the uncertainty of what the sunrise and the rising moon will show

But I know one day soon we will all join in nature again and see all the beauty she has to share 

It will be then we realize she was just getting it ready for us to begin again...
