_{”Some people of my ummah were shown to me (in my dream) fighting in the way of Allah, sailing in the middle of the seas like kings on the thrones (or he said) like kings sitting on their thrones."} 

Ummu Haram asked Rasulullah(SAW) to pray for her to be included  as one of the people. Later on, he assured her that she will be amongst them. Many years later after the death of Rasulullah (SAW), during Uthman's caliphate, the dream finally came true and she accompanied her husband in the first Islamic naval attack against Cyprus.

Ummu Haram died and was buried in Cyprus and today, there is a Mosque adjacent to her grave which was built by the Ottomans in her honour. 

-Muhasabah: Use this opportunity to re-assess our weakness and strength. "What can I do better? What need to be changed?"

-Having tawakkul in Allah SWT. He is the best planner and He teaches us the best lessons.

-Strengthen our ibadah. "Seek help in patience and preyer"     (2:153) 

-Gratitude puts our test in perspective and stop us from complaining.It is the greatest route towards Sabr.

verily, every act is done by intention. In this case, one must have IKHLAS (sincerity) in the ibadah that he is performing in order to free himself from anything that might cause Allah SWT to be associated with. It is done solely for the sake of Allah SWT, not for his own satisfaction in getting praises or etc.
-It is important to bear in mind that you have to keep practising and slowly renew your intention everytime you realize that there's something wrong with it.

We aren't in the position to decide how we want to worship Him and as a slave of Him, it is only He that has a right to command us how to do so.

3.Done with Ihsan (+ve virtues)
-Worship Him as though you're seeing Him, and if not as if He sees you
-When you do an ibadah, make sure to put your best effort in completing it, not just because you were forced to do so.
-By implementing this concept, you're able to create a consistent motivation within yourself which drives you to do more good deeds in excellence for Allah SWT.

- In surah Al Ankabut:45 Allah highlights the significance of performing prayers which is that it restrains us from evil and indecent acts.
-Al Fahsha (indecent): adultery, drinking, etc.
-Al-Munkar (evil): syirik, fasiq (things that break a person's faith)

In our discussion, we focused on 5 main points:

1. TA-AH (OBEDIENCE)
-Salah is an amanah that was given by Allah to the people of Prophet Muhammad SAW and so we are responsible to perform it with the utmost perfection.
-This bring a muslim closer to his Maker as he fulfill the obligations that had been laid out to him in order to attain His pleasure.
-His own desires will be ignored as his heart is purified and every of his action will be only for the sake of Allah.
2. JIHAD (STRIVING)
-Khushoo' isn't something that can be easily obtained, and if one does experience it, it will be hard for him to have the same khushoo' in every of his prayer.
-One shouldn't expect that the khushoo' will stay with him forever. He must work hard in attaining the khushoo', as it deals with one's state of consciousness and faith.
-He will have to strive everytime he is making his prayer in order to fully grasp the sweetness of it. That's how this virtue of jihad is embedded in a person when he achieve khushoo' in his salah.

3.REWARDS IN THE HEREAFTER

2. TAKRIM (Respect/Deference)
- During fasting muslims were told to be mindful of their actions and the words that comes out from their mouth. As a result, they learn how to respect other people and refrain themselves from hurting others.
-Just how islam stresses the importance of having a respect towards each other, fasting helps in instilling this virtue in a person and allow him to implement it in his daily life.

3. RAHMAH (Friendliness)
-In the month of Ramadhan, we see that many people will make an effort to participate in volunteer work as well as give out their wealth to the needy. This will help in strengthening the brotherhood among muslim community.

2.TAWAKKUL IN ALLAH
-By giving up your love of wealth, it make us realize how dependent we are towards Allah and that all of our wealth were never meant to be ours fully in the first place.
-This strengthen one's faith and draw him closer to Allah as He is the One who provide him with sustenance.

HAJJ
1.Tadhiyyah (Sacrifice)
-One have to invest in their time, wealth and even their strength whether before or during hajj
-This build a strong faith in believer as they're spending their life and doing hajj with Allah in mind.
2.TAQWA
-Increasing God -consciousness when performing ibadah during hajj.
-The image of ppl gathering resemble the scene on the day of Judgement and it develops a fear in the hearts of believers due to their deeds. This encourages them to do more good deeds so that they may attain Jannah insha-Allah.
