Each Friday, one student will share about themselves to give everyone practice with the social skills needed for making friends, networking, and even future job interviews. Learning how to present yourself confidently and interestingly is a valuable life skill that will serve you well beyond the classroom. Here's how it works: Start your post with your preferred full name in the subject line. In the main body, share five interesting facts about yourself that would make someone want to get to know you better. Think about what makes you unique, memorable, or relatable—these are the kinds of details that spark conversations and help people connect with you. Whether it's an unusual hobby, a hidden talent, or an interesting experience, choose facts that genuinely represent who you are. Include a photo where you feel confident or one that has special meaning to you. Finally, describe yourself in three words that capture your personality. This activity gives you a safe space to practice talking about yourself in a positive, engaging way. These are skills you'll use when meeting new people, in college interviews, and throughout your career.
