Prepare. Ukrainian Edition 7 can use a variety of learning approaches:

1.       Thematic approach

It is likely to be organized around themes that bring together different academic subjects. For example, a module may focus on research, creativity or communication.

This approach helps students see connections between different subjects and develop a holistic understanding of the world.

2. Project-based learning:

This textbook can include projects where students work together on tasks related to a specific topic.

For example, a project could consist of creating a presentation about environmental problems or developing an action plan to improve the school yard.

This approach promotes the development of collaboration, research and critical thinking skills.

3. Collaborative learning:

Prepare 7 can offer tasks that force students to work together in groups.

For example, students can collaborate to write a story, hold a debate, or research a topic.

This approach helps students develop communication, listening and problem-solving skills.

4. CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning):

This approach helps students develop subject knowledge while improving their English.

They can integrate learning English with other subjects such as science, math or social studies.

For example, students can read scientific texts in English, conduct experiments and present their results.

5. Authentic materials:

In this textbook is used authentic materials such as newspapers, magazines, websites and videos to teach English.These materials help students see how English is used in the real world.

6. Technology integration

The textbook may offer online assignments, interactive exercises, or the use of digital tools for research and presentations.

7. Language immersion

This can happen during role-playing games, simulations, or simply during regular lessons.

Immersion can help students develop listening and spoken English skills more quickly.

8. Field Trips and Experiential Learning:

Prepare probably does not directly offer field trips, as organizing such activities is beyond the scope of the textbook. However, the textbook may offer projects or assignments that use elements of experiential learning. For example, students can conduct experiments at home or simulate real-life situations in the classroom.

9. Assessment and feedback:

Prepare is likely to offer tasks to assess how well students have mastered the learning material related to the topics. Feedback from the teacher can help students improve their English learning.

Incorporating CLIL lessons is easy in every unit of the book. For example, while going through the topic of Our changing planet( geography). Here is one of the examples. Students go through the book material, learn the target vocabulary , then go on investigating and finding materials about the geographical features of Ukraine and of their region

Project -based learning is one of my favourites. It gives an opportunity to present the results of students’ work, their achievements in a fast and bright way.

Project-based learning in English language textbook is usually built on the basis of various tasks that stimulate students to think creatively, cooperate and apply the learned knowledge in practical situations. This can include projects with different topics.

Authentic materials such as texts, audio that match the students' learning level. These materials have taken from real sources such as newspapers, magazines, internet resources, television broadcasts, etc. and adapted for the needs of English language learning.

In my opinion, language immersion in the "Prepare 7" textbook built through the use of tasks and exercises that create an atmosphere of complete immersion in the English-speaking environment.

This include the use of English in all aspects of the learning process, from student-teacher communication to reading materials,audio....and so on...
