THEORETICAL PERSPECTIVE

Behavior problems of children in school:
Causes and actions
One of the triggers of behavior problems in children and adolescents is inadequate control of their emotions.
The difficulties in the behavior of the boys can also arise due to the lack of limits in parenting at home by their parents.-a indiscipline, the challenge to authority and harassment, among other behavioral problems, are presented by more than one child and adolescent in schools.
Although these situations have a multifactorial origin, one of their main causes is that the boys do not always control their own emotions well, according to experts in the field.
Human beings are born with certain elements that help them to have a better control of their emotions and one of them is the "family", sustains Sarah Sasso, a clinical psychologist specialized in individual, family and couples therapy.SituationIn the school there are established norms and rules, which can come in opposition to what some children do in their home and this is where bad behavior can arise."Emotions are learned to be handled as the child sees through his family nucleus good models of expression",
It may be the case that the children have parents who react by screaming in certain situations. That is, they see an inadequate model of emotion control, he says.
[These problems] begin in all the contexts in which the child develops, "emphasizes the specialist.
Behavioral difficulties can also arise due to the lack of limits on parenting taught by adults, adds psychologist XochitlMckay.
A study published in the British Medical Journal notes that to achieve adequate behavior in the child, he must maintain a good bond with his parents. For this, parents must dedicate enough time to their children from an early age.
As applied to my topic, this theory holds that I would expect my independent variable you will give a bad behaviorChildren who respond impulsively, others who break in during classes, there are some who say offensive words to their classmates and there are also those who oppose all indications, that is, children who have no limits and do what they want.
These are examples of behavioral problems of some children in schools and experts, to children who do not know how to control their emotions, have attributed this behavior.

THEORETICAL PERSPECTIVE

The theory that I will use is the social learning theory. It was developt by Montgomery (1843) who proposed that social learning took place through four main stages: close contact, imitation, understanding of the concepts, and behaviour of the model to follow. Rotter (1954) developed the theory of learning based on interaction and Bandura (1977) expands Rotter’s idea and took Miller and Dollard ideas (1941)and creates a theory that includes aspects of cognitive and behavioural learning. This theory indicatesthat the environment in which people perform affects behaviour and psychological factors influence the people behaviour; Badura (1977) suggests three characteristics for people to acquire knowledge: remember the observed, repeat the observed and be highly motivated to acquire that knowledge. As applied to my topic, this theory holds that I would expect my independent variable(s) 1. time the teacher uses the language of interest during the development of the class (time that the teacher talks during the class in the language that will teach; 2. A number of activities the teacher implement to motivate students (videos, photos, games); 3. A number of changes in the environment or diversification of physical space for the class (classroom, library, park, go to a theatre). To influence or explain the dependent variable(s) performance of each student in the 4 skills (speaking, writing, reading, listening), because the context and the contact in the second languageacquisition is of great importance since, as mentioned by Sieguel (2003), the different environments (family, social, academic) determine to a great extent the degree of contact of the students with the language that they want to learn and influence the results of the acquisition process; If the student works in an environment where the target language is not used frequently, it is not sufficiently exposed to the language that he/she wishes to learn it is necessary to implement new strategies that allow an adequate acquisition of the language.

THEORETICAL PERSPECTIVE

The theory that I will use is connectivism. It was developed by Stephen Downes and George siemens, and it was used to study This theory indicates thatLearning is a specialized connection process of nodes orsources of information and therefore education isinfluenced by technology, where knowledge can reside in non-human artifacts and that the connections of learning networks facilitate access to information by satisfying the needs of a changing world. (Gutierrez, 2012)
As applied to my topic, this theory holds that I would expect my independent variable(s)the access to technological tools, resources for learning, learning techniques, age, level of studies and geographic locationto influence or explain the dependent variable(s) participation and motivation for autonomous and collaborative learning because the relationship between these variables determines the scope of learning and the appropriation of the individual's knowledge.

THEORETICAL PERSPECTIVE

The theory that I will use is constructivism. It was developed by Jean Piaget, Vygotsky, Ausubel, and Bruner., And was used to study the learning process in people through schemes (the organization of information), assimilation (the integration of new information in the schemes) and accommodation (the transformation of existing schemes or the creation of new schemes). Additionally, the pedagogical approach of this theory holds that knowledge is not discovered, it is constructed: the student constructs his knowledge from his own way of being, thinking and interpreting information. Therefore, the population is taken and then the research sample which will be to know the degree of the behavior of students of private schools of Santiago de Cali primary school, commune 21 (Colegio Gran Saber) and its relationship with academic performance, using the type of probabilistic sampling (simple random sample). Population: Degree of construction of knowledge of the students of private schools of Santiago de Cali basic primary. Sample: Degree of construction of knowledge of the students of private schools of Santiago de Cali primary, commune 21 (Colegio Gran Saber) Type of Sampling: Probabilistic random section, which was selected Random simple. Obtaining as an independent variable the degree of knowledge construction of students from private schools in Santiago de Cali primary school, commune 21 (Colegio Gran Saber) and dependent variable Students from private schools in Santiago de Cali primary school, commune 21 (Colegio Gran Saber)).

Coming from the tradition of social psychology.

Therefore, it is important that the researcher takes into account all these factors such as human behavior, beliefs, age, sector, the degree of education, etc., in order to have greater precision in the access of their work plan to improve according to results obtained in the investigation.

Best regards,

Magnolia

JOSE SANTOS DIAZ

Good arfternoon dear tutor and Miryen, I wanna thank you, for your comment about my contribution, and it is very meaningful, therefore I found out deeper about the topic I selected. All these principles and items doing part of a theorical social perspective.

1. Disciplines concerned with human behaviour

Psychology, anthropology, history and sociology are all disciplines concerned with human behaviour. While these approaches differ in terms of their perspectives and methodologies, there is also considerable overlap between them. Rather than contradict each other, they complement one another in developing our understanding of human behaviour and a multi-disciplinary approach to public health. Applying theories and research from these disciplines can help to explain the behaviours of individuals, groups within populations, and healthcare organisations. In doing so we can begin to understand how different concepts of health, wellbeing and illness evolved through changes in societies and cultures.

Psychology is the scientific study of people, the mind and behaviour. It is both an academic discipline and an applied science or professional practice.[1] By developing our understanding of how we think, feel, act and interact, individually and in groups, psychology can contribute to developing solutions for social problems. In terms of public health theory and practice, health psychology and social psychology are particularly relevant, although there is also considerable overlap with other psychological disciplines including developmental and cognitive psychology. Health psychology is concerned with people’s attitudes, beliefs and behaviours about health, including models to predict and enable behaviour change. Social psychology is concerned with the behaviour of individuals and groups as part of their wider societies.

Anthropology is the study of various aspects of human life (e.g. societies, cultures and languages) within societies of the past and present. Within this discipline, social anthropology and medical anthropology are especially relevant to public health. Social anthropology is the study of human society and cultures, seeking to understand how people live in societies and how they make their lives meaningful. Medical anthropology draws upon other anthropological sub-disciplines including social, cultural, biological, and linguistic anthropology to examine individual, population and environmental health from the perspective of interactions between humans and other species; cultural norms and social institutions; micro and macro politics; and forces of globalisation.

History is the recording and interpretation of past events. Understanding history puts current social structures, norms and behaviours into context, and is crucial for learning lessons for the future. The history of medicine demonstrates how approaches to health and illness in societies have changed over time. Developments in medicine, science and technology have both influenced and been influenced by understanding of anatomy; beliefs about health and illness; treatment paradigms; and the social and political environments in which healthcare systems operate.

Sociology is the study of social behaviour or society, including its origins, development, organisation, networks, and institutions. It is a social science that uses empirical research and critical analysis to understand social order, disorder and change. The simplest view of the academic discipline of sociology is that it is somehow concerned with the understanding of human societies. However, this does not take us very far as most people feel they know a good deal about the society in which they live because they experience it every day; this can be described as 'common-sense' or experiential knowledge. Another approach would be to define sociology as a research-based study of society. However, there are other academic disciplines such as history, politics, economics, anthropology and social psychology that also have human society as the object of study. Probably the best way of defining the contribution of sociology is by looking at the key questions that originally stimulated the development of the academic discipline and which continue to underpin sociological research today:

Retrieved from the page web : https://www.healthknowledge.org.uk/public-health-textbook/medical-sociology-policy-economics/4a-concepts-health-illness/section1

I wait your comments about my new contribution.

Best Wishes

José Santos Díaz

JIMY ARVEY DELGADO

Dear Jose Santos:

I thank you for your participation for the design of the padlet, The theory of the language and the authors that you mention are interesting and it is a subject susceptible to research, however I recommend that you adjust the information of their authors, the theories under study, dependent and independent variables according to the example guide provided by the tutor because your document does not reflect that information.

please check the name of the tutor and correct it.

MIRYEN MAGNOLIA VELEZ

Dear Jimy

I think every day technology is more linked to education both for the student and for teachers, where it must be used good way in order to achieve proposed objectives besides education and innovative for all people through resources technological.

Regards,

Magnolia.

MARIA FERNANDA BURBANO

Hello Jimy.

I agree with the theory that you mention to solve your topic since it fits the needs of learning in today's environments where technology plays an important role and is a valuable means for acquiring knowledge for those who have a otherwise they can not access a physical space where they can develop their studies; Likewise, the individual has the opportunity to choose the content and what they want to learn according to their convenience and opens the opportunity to expand knowledge to society in general through connectivity as a fundamental tool in social learning.

Fernanda Burbano.

MIRYEN MAGNOLIA VELEZ

Dear Jose,

When you talk about human behavior, we can emphasize many fields or aspects, one could be the behavior in the classroom, the behavior in the house, etc. and is linked to our coexistence according to whether it is good or bad depending on the environment where we are, you can measure the degree of good and bad behavior of students at college or university, in order to study the results and seek improvement opportunities if appropriate.

Regards,

Magnolia.

MARIA FERNANDA BURBANO

His topic of interest is very frequent in school environments, we see how the children's temperament affects their school performance, which is why this topic seems important to me since this behavior notably alters the normal development of a class which is reflected in the acquisition of knowledge.
