In my point of view, Elijah should play because it is Elijah´s dream and he wants do that with his life.If he wants to he play but people are saying that he is to big.He being forced not to play.His mom is trying to help by making shirts that say let Elijah play and painted signs.That he comes home and cry and go to his bed and says I give up because he cant play.All in all, Elijah should play

I feel this way because if he feels so strongly about playing, he should, and the text says that he cried when he went home, saying, "I give up."  Everyone should be able to play, no matter what size or weight. Another reason is that even though he can play in the school league, he doesn't know anyone there. He doesn't have any friends in the school league, he doesn't know anybody, so, why should he play for something/someone he doesn't know about?
