Before quarantine, the PM2.5 in the air for china was extremely high. People with asthma had a lot of problems and people had to wear a mask. Before quarantine, there were also a lot of factories producing this PM2.5 and not thinking about how unhealthy this is to breathe in. After quarantine, a lot of fast food places closed, less factories were open, and less people were driving from place to place . After quarantine, PM2.5. levels also went down a lot and people in China were not having as much difficulty breathing. This shows that some of the things making PM2.5. are: Factories, cars, and fast food places. To solve this issue, people could eat healthier and not go to fast food places all the time. Fast food places tend to produce more PM2.5 when there are more people ordering there. Another way to help with this issue would be to use different ways of transportation, like a bike or scooter. A final way to help with this problem is to have less factories in a given area. The more factories open in a state, the more PM2.5 in that state.

when the virus was no happing in china the levels of PM2.5 were very high and was not healthy for the average person to breath this type of air also a lot has changes since the virus occurred because that meant that a lot less people are outside also non essential business were closed and those business were also emitting a lot of pollution into the air. Now cars are also damaging the air significantly and riding a bike or walking or riding an electric scooter would help these air quality levels improve and that would be better for everyone in china

Before Covid-19, The PM2.5 in chin'as air was over the roof. It was super unhealthy and could have easily made a big decline in some population. Ever since Covid-19 has occurred, the levels went down due to everyone staying home and not using cars and manufacturing companies. This could have potentially been the start of a new, healthy, environment for China because I am sure the quality and the way the breathe must have felt so much better and safer than China has ever had before. Due to all China's manufacturing companies and what not, the pollution/PM2.5 has been incredibly high. The least they could do is relocate to other parts of China, Preferably other countries, and be as spread out as possible. No, this would not solve the problem fully, However it will at least reduce some of the PM2.5.

Wuhan, China's PM2.5 levels before the quarantine were pretty high. Considering how big of a city Wuhan is, it's bound to be high. I think that they could learn from the pandemic, to try to lower the PM2.5 levels. They could use less cars, for instance by taking a bus or a train to work instead. They could also cut back on the usage of gas and instead opt for more electric factories or motors.

Before all of this happened, China's PM2.5 levels were extremely high and unhealthy. During quarantine, lots of big factories and buildings closed, making the air better and lowering there PM2.5 levels. After quarantine, the air was noticeably much healthier and cleaner for the residents. All of this shows that China's use of big factories, coal factories, and buildings (lots of cars,) causes all of the air pollution in the air and the high levels of PM2.5. One way that we can maintain the pollution levels and keep them down for good would be to stop the use of coal factories for good, and use better eco-friendly factories (Waste-free energy use.) This would help China with there pollution and PM2.5 levels, and would significantly lower them. They could also stop putting so much bad stuff in the air, by maybe car-pooling to work, or riding bikes to your job.

When we went into quarantine, only then did the air quality start improving. Something we can do to improve air quality is travel less often, or only when needed. If not, try to take public transportation instead of each individual car.

The PM2.5 levels in Wuhan, China were extremely high prior to quarantine, and they've decreased dramatically since they've been on lockdown. Considering this, the thing causing all that air pollution was stuff people used, like cars and buses and other forms of transportation that give out gas, multiple factories being in an area, etc. So, some ways keep these levels down is by using more resourceful forms of transportation like bicycles instead of cars all the time.

Pre quarentine, the air in China was super unhealthy due to PM2.5. This made it so the air was made up of tiny particles and made the air hazy. This could cause breathing problems for your lungs. However, once quarentine started, people stopped commuting and big buildings shut down, meaning the air stopped being so polluted and the PM2.5 levels decreased. My solution would be to cut down on how much gas or energy is emitted daily, to try and stop the pollution in general.

This is causing a major strain in our air quality. But because of this COVID-19 and the worldwide quarantine that was put in effect and everything closing down, The levels reached even the most healthiest point which is where the air quality is up to WHO guidelines. The solution is if we could find a way to use our resources in a more eco friendly way and limiting the amount of pollution that is being emitted.

Air pollution has always been a massive problem within the world, especially in the recent years. We've all become so used to the factories around us, to driving cars regardless of whether they're good or not, and to not being conservative with our resources, and it's caused a lot of air pollution. One of the biggest examples of this is Wuhan, China, who's PM2.5's levels were extremely high and dangerous early in the year. However, with the threat of the COVID-19 virus, and a lockdown in place, people were forced to stay inside, which actually decreased the pollution levels. This proves that a solution to this problem is to limit how much pollution you cause, from doing things like using travel alternatives besides cars, closing down some factories, etc.

But since lockdown, the air quality has gotten way healthier due to the fact that not a lot of people were on the streets and a lot of businesses that effected this air quality closed for quarantine. To limit this pollution of the air we could close harmful factories, use travel other than gas cars, or even just car pooling to slim down the amount of cars on the road.

Do to the lockdown, air quality has gotten better. When quarantine is over, PM2.5 will rise up in places that can get high amounts of PM2.5 because of how many people wish to leave their houses and a lot of people like to travel so finding a solution to have the air quality around the world is like writing an argument essay with no proper meaning. It is something that humans need to work around or deal with, and I think no matter what we do to change the air quality to be healthy, we will still have a small amount of unhealthy air, because we have cars to take us from one place to another and back and mainly it would take years or months maybe days to get to New York from someplace in Canada. Trucks help move heavy material to a store, power plants, factories, nuclear power plants. Humanity made a lot things to help make life easier. So decreasing the air quality to be healthy would take years, do to how people take in certain thing and with the american people having a lot of problems on their plates we will slowly work on air quality being healthy but we have to be careful with how we change this, plus this lockdown has helped with the air quality being good but when this lockdown is over maintaining healthy air would be a big challenge that not all 7.7 billion people would participate in.

Because of the travel restrictions/bans set because of the Covid-19 outbreak, the amount of air pollution has gone down substantially. When Electric do not produce any emissions, and when they are charged from power sources that are of renewable energy, it is a win win.

Before Covid - 19 in Wuhan, China and other big cities around the world, the PM2.5 levels were very high and unhealthy for lots of people to breathe in. It has affected many of those who have health problems and may have increased their risks of catching other sicknesses. The causes of the high PM2.5 levels were mostly from cars, factories, airports, etc... but ever since places were put on lockdown, the PM2.5 levels have decreased drastically! The travel rates have went down causing less fuel and other particles to get through the air and mostly everybody stayed home, which is a good thing for the environment and themselves. The stay at home order has caused a major change in the environment in a good way, but the PM2.5 levels will most likely go up again once quarantine is over :( People could resolve this problem by taking public transportation and riding bikes, or even walking!

In Wuhan, China before Covid-19, the PM2.5 levels were at its worst. The air was unhealthy to breathe in and would have an effect on the people's health. The cause of this was due to burning fuel such as factories or cars, making the air worst. Since Wuhan went into quarantine, the air has drastically improved. Since there are less people going out, the less fuel is being burned. The quarantine has had an astonishing impact on the environment but will most likely return back to having high PM2.5 levels after the quarantine is over. A solution would be to limit the amount of fuel factories use and to limit how much of something they're going to produce

Before quarantine, the air quality wasn't good and there was a lot of pollution. This is because there were many more cars driving around, a lot of factories open, more planes flying around, etc. Because of the virus, most stores and businesses were closed, there were less people driving because you were only supposed to leave your house if it was necessary so people barely left their houses. As things got better people would go on walks or ride their bikes which doesn't cause any pollution. Since majority of people were in their house there was less pollution which made the air quality better.

Before quarantine, the air quality was terrible in many places. PM2.5 levels were high in alot of areas and that isn't good since it is one of the most harmful pollutants. These terrible air qualities can cause respiratory problems in some people and that is not what we want. When the stay at home orders were assigned, many people followed the guidelines to prevent COVID-19 and many people starting noticing the drastic differences in the air quality because people weren't outside as much as they used to be. The fog in many cities cleared up and the sky became visible. We should maintain the healthy air qualities we have at this moment. In order to do that, we should find different ways of transportation like riding bikes or walking. We should use cars less often because they emit harmful toxins into the air, such as hydrocarbon, which can cause the air to be poor in quality. When everyone starts taking these steps, the earth will be much cleaner and people will also feel much healthier.

All of the factories and people commuting made the air quality really poor and unsafe. Since the shut down the levels have gotten better and are more safe. Factories should use greener technologies and they should be better rewarded for this.
