The American Pediatric Association says that kids shouldn't get more than an hour of screen time a day. Who knows how much they are getting at home?! Our society is becoming very digital and we should be a big part of it, but the question is, how much IS appropriate? I'm ready to delve in depth again. There are so many resources that it seems unreasonable to neglect to use this tool. I don't compare academic screen time to play screen time. As long as we are using the devices as a productivity tool and not for games that are more distracting than educational. I do think there needs to be time for both activities.
