1. Volkswagen should continue to strive for the best ways to make their cars better. Volkswagen should not have to complete illegal activities in order to get approval from government standards.
2. Recognize that VW has changed irreparably. The company employees 600,000 people in Europe alone. VW needs to put new leadership rolls, as a lot of people rely on this job. A leader would not do illegal things, and would look out best for the company and its employees.
3. VW needs to show how that these problems will never happen again. The next step in crisis management is to prove to customers, and the authorities, that a scandal like this will never happen again.

Volkswagen states that thy want to create environmentally friendly cars. To test this claim, they put monkeys into an air tight chamber and pumped diesel fumes into the chamber while the monkeys were distracted with cartoons. By testing on animals, they are violating their statement of being "environmentally safe". Of course animal testing goes back on their goal to be clean, and demonstrates their bad corporate citizenship and how they're punishing the planet.

However, despite these events, Volkswagen as taken steps in order to "make-up" for their previous mistakes. Volkswagen has committed to spending $54 billion over the next 4years, developing technology that will reduce traffic congestion and pollution.

In summary, Volkswagen claims they are environmentally friendly and they invest their time to make their cars better for our planet. But, when Volkswagen is investigated, several cases of fraudulant activity comes up as results. If Volkswagen has lied to the public and hid events such as animal abuse, what else have they been hiding from the public?
