Makoto explained that his focus is on mining and he is still working on LOIs. 
We talked about some of the uses of mining worldwide and watched a video on all the elements required to get a smartphone made. 
Discussed dangers of the job and also the different levels of safety for workers dependent on the country they are working in etc.

We talked about his plan of action to complete the project and his aim is to get LOIs done this week and be doing a lot of research next week.
