    It is the shape of a popcorn which is much bigger than an actual popcorn. It is drawn using charcoal.

    When the scale is different, it is less obvious what the object originally was.

    One of my classmate's work looks like a Ma Hua [Chinese doughnut/fried dough twist] and another one looks like a gingerbread
