Allusions serve as a way for writers to simplify ideas and emotions. They are important because it helps appeal to all readers with religious views and enjoy Greek Mythology.

This allusion is effective because he has no eye ball and the lyric refers to him being a baller.
In Post Malone's 'White Iverson' he sings the lyrics "White Iverson When I started balling I was young you gon' think about me when i'm gone, i need that money like the ring I never won" this allusion is referring to his song that he made about himself looking like a white Allen Iverson when he got his hair braided. His song praises NBA players such as James Harden and Anthony Davis. Allen Iverson never won an NBA championship (Ring), so Post Malone says that he wants to get money just as badly as Iverson wanted a ring.

"The bell invites me. Hear it not, Duncan, for it is a kneel That summons thee to heaven or to hell." The speaker is Macbeth. This quote alludes to Matthew 25.31 in the bible "when the Son of man shall come in His Glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He shall be gathered all nations.." This is relevant because Macbeth is going to send King Duncan to his judgement before God. 
2) In Hamlet, Act One Scene 2 in lines 7 and 8. " Fie on't! ah fie! 'tis an unweeded garden, That grows to seed" The allusion is to the bible. This allusion is to Adam and Eve and the garden of Eden. This quote has significance since the fall of Adam was Eve and the fall of Macbeth was the Ghost. 
3) The third allusion was in Julius Caesar Act 1 Scene 2, line 23 "I, as Aeneas, our great ancestor." This is alluding to Greek mythology. Aeneas was a Trojan Hero in Greek mythology. This is important to the text because they are talking about troy.
4) In Hamlet Act One Scene 2, Line 20-21 it says "with which she follow'd my poor fathers body like Niobe." This allusion is a mythological allusion. she is being compared to hamlets mother for mourning the death of her children but Gertrude gets with Hamlets uncle. 
5) The last allusion is in Act 2 scene one of Macbeth. "witchcraft celebrates Pale Hecate's offering. This is also an allusion to Greek Mythology. Hecate was the daughter of Zeus who guarded over magic.

For example in the movie 'Aladdin' when Aladdin makes his first wish to the genie he summoned from the magic lamp, the genie (wearing a robe that wraps around one arm like an ancient Roman) shuffles through a book of magic spells to grant Aladdin his wish. As he is doing so, an arm reaches out of the book to stab him with a dagger. The genie then says "Et tu Brute" which is a very famous quote from Shakespeare's play ' Julius Caesar'. The scene comes from Act III scene I and are the dying words that Julius Caesar mutters to Brutus who gives the fatal stab to King Caesar. Walt Disney alludes to Shakespeare in a lot more of his films as well, including 'Toy Story 3' when the toys are reenacting the balcony scene from 'Romeo and Juliet'. and 'The Little Mermaid' also alludes to the greatest love story of all time in the song "kiss the girl".
