This conference gave me a glimpse into the current landscape of the tech industry and what recruiters are looking for in students. Hearing one thing online doesn't compare to when I actually met and interacted with recruiters and industry professionals. They gave me a lot of advice, including a resume review session, and I completely changed my resume after meeting them. The resume I made after this conference actually got me two first round interviews from companies based in Maryland.”

This allowed me to focus more on networking with other scholars and being involved in the workshops."
