1.1 Circle of Influence

Art has to be my most significant influence on people because I love drawing, and when it comes to art, people come to me for help or tips, and it influences my other circles.

Next is Swimming, because even though the program isn't there anymore. I had a massive influence because my parents helped the program, and I usually helped clean after lessons were over, and helped when my parents or others needed help.

Online Fandoms are next because I used to have art channels of different shows, movies, and games. I still post art and animations occasionally. People wanted to collab or liked my work

Family is next because I am the oldest child and have a lot of responsibilities, and I have my younger siblings rely on me sometimes.

Friend groups are next because I'm usually the observer and just watch chaos unfold. Sometimes, I get out of that habit.

College is last because I'm a student and just started, and I'm still figuring out things about college. I have no influence yet.

The strongest claim is that the students pay tuition, and the weakest claim is riding the bus for fun. I picked that to be my strongest claim because it helps students in low-income families and also has multiple programs. I picked that claim to be my weakest because it's an opinion, and it doesn't give a benefit like the other claims do.

I picked the strongest claim to be more focused during class because usually students don't get a good amount of sleep due to schoolwork overload. I picked the weakest claim to be that the cafeteria should sell more food because I find it unrelated to the claim that classes should start later compared to other claims.

I picked the strongest claim to be that cooking is healthier than eating out because it is true that you can have takeout all day. It's not good for your health and costs a lot. I picked the weakest claim to impress your friends because I think you should learn cooking for many different reasons than impressing your friends.

I picked the strongest claim that fiction helps people imagine perspectives because fiction helps you see more sides of one story, which makes you think more deeply into the surface. I picked the weakest claim that some novels are boring because it's more of an opinion than something that can benefit critical thinking in fiction.

I picked the strongest claim that democracy works better with more participation because the more people who vote, the better the results. I picked the weakest claim, which is that it would make elections fairer because elections are already unfair, regardless of whether they are mandatory or not.

I picked the strongest claim that students are too busy with jobs and activities because many students have lives outside of school, and putting a workload of homework just makes them more stressed, which makes this claim make the most sense. I picked the weakest claim, which is that extra practice improves learning, because the original claim is that to reduce homework, not to give extra.

I picked the strongest claim, which is that social media spreads misinformation, because it's been proven that many people lie just to get attention. The weakest claim is "It helps people connect with friends," because the original claim was about social media doing more harm than good, which doesn't help the original claim.

The strongest claim is that players practice many hours because it's true that many people spend many hours on a game that they are passionate about. It takes skill and practice to be good at a game. The weakest claim is that it doesn’t involve physical activity because some games involve physical activity, so this claim is false.

The strongest claim is "Creativity is useful in any career," because many people use it in their careers, and it helps you be more creative and take art seriously. The weakest claim is "some students dislike art," because if they get put into an art class, they might like and find enjoyment in it.

I was in the park later in the afternoon so it wasn’t too crowded when I was walking around

Some rules are stay on the paths, don’t stare at others for too long, move to the side for joggers and families with kids and don’t be too loud

Some things that are encouraged is exercising, spending time together with loved ones, dog walking, and having fun

Part B:

Anyone can be in the park.

This is my friend Tyler we graduated from high school together and now in college together. I interviewed him because I am too nervous to talk to other people. In the interview, his favorite quote is “to live life with no regrets.” He told me that before, but I find this quote very powerful.
