<title>In the tempest Miranda was a young girl just under 15 years old who was controlled very heavily by her father. She Mets a man and falls in love while also disobeying her father and standing up for what she thinks is right for her life. I think her motivation in this play is the power of love. How features are abroad I am skilless of, but, by my modesty, The jewel in my dower, I would not wish Any companion in the world but you, Nor can imagination form a shape Besides yourself to like of”. </title>

<title>Miranda’s central conflict in the tempest is her being under the rule of her father and having to obey him at all costs for her whole life. She also is the only woman in her life. She doesn’t have any women to lead her and no women to look up to as a young girl. Miranda doesn’t know beauty and she doesn’t know what any other woman looks like compared to her. Her father uses her as a prize in a way and a pawn in his games to get back at his enemies, This just shows the lack of control that she has over her life and how many men around her are controlling what she does. She also complies to these men because that is all she knows and she gets married and gives herself to Ferdinand through true passion but it is forceful. </title>

<title>Miranda’s personality in my opinion is that she is a very respectful person who stands up for what they believe in but she is also shy about it in ways. I feel that she speaks her mind but at what cost of her father talking back to her and disagreeing with what she has to say. She is visibly kind and compassionate to all and is all around a loving person. Miranda is a curious and adventurous person and has the desire to explore the world since she has been on this island her whole life. Miranda can also be seen as stubborn due to her want for independence and the need to make her own choices. </title>

<title>Miranda’s appearance in the play was that she was beautiful and she is the symbolism of beauty in the play. The name Miranda means “the wonderful one” so she is destined to be beautiful. </title>

<title>Miranda is the daughter of Prospero, who was once the Duke of Milan but he was overthrown by his brother Antonio. Prospero and Miranda were banished to the island with only her father and their slave Caliban as company. Prospero used his powers to create a home on the island. When the shipwreck on the island happened Miranda met a prince named Ferdinand and this was the first time that she has ever met anyone besides her father. She was immediately drawn to him. </title>

<title>I think that Miranda’s hopes in the tempest is to ultimately leave the island her and her father have been banished to. I also think that she wants her father to stop his evil and revengeful ways. I also think she hopes to fall in love and have a good relationship with the men in her life. </title>

<title>I feel that Miranda’s dreams are the same as her hopes. I feel that she dreams to get off the island and I think she dreams to go back to the life she once had. I think that she dreams of being a normal teenage girl who can live without the pressure of everyone else in her life. </title>

<title>I feel that Miranda’s ambitions is to make her world a better place by creating kindness and compassion in her life which people around her will acquire. I think that all she wants is her father to come to his senses and to forgive and to ask for forgiveness from the others that he has done wrong. </title>
