Globalization, which is known as the process in different countries are rapidly being influenced and influencing each other. Globalization is aided by modern day technology such as phones, emails, laptops, computer, tvs, etc. Globalization aided in the growth of many nations including our own. Because of globalization we are able to safely negotiate and handle global issues in an organized and safe way. Globalization which was an idea founded arguably in the late 15th century has spread and increased rapidly to help us get to the modern world that we are in now. Because globalization is the spread of ideas it gives us more reason to believe that we could not be where we are today without globalization.

By spreading ideas that concern areas like governing or simple things like products, we are able to develop more as a collective community. You could argue that globalization also instigates organized crime and spreads pandemics, but globalization also helps solve those problems too, of course, we have to take into account that these problems wouldn't have taken place if globalization wasn't present in our world, however, because globalization caused the problem, but also solved it, this means that overall globalization has helped humans progress greatly since the late 15th century. Globalization has also instigated the use of world organizations such as the WTO and NATO which help prevent world war and also make sure that world trade runs smoothly. I think that without globalization, humanity wouldn't be where it is today.

Globalization is the ongoing process of countries influencing each other and integrating each other’s new technology and ideas. This is what causes multinational corporations and cultural diffusion to exist. Much to people’s enjoyment, things produced in certain countries can be exported and then bought in other countries all over the world. In addition, because of all this foreign trade, world trade organizations have even emerged to enforce international trade rules on things like taxes, tariffs, subsidies, and copyrights.

Though there are a few negative effects, such as poverty and job insecurity, more attention has been drawn to human rights violations, and poor countries have been provided the chance to economically prosper (as well as in some cases create more democratic conditions). Labor is moved from country to country to show market skills and share technology, making multiple nations work and develop together. Some corporations and governments are even attempting to help solve each other’s ecological problems. This has also allowed many countries to become more tolerant towards each other, and with this has come the chance for culture to be spread around between countries which previously never had anything in common. It is important to have these ties and connections with other nations in order to smooth tensions, and the impact different types of cultures have had on each other have definitely been leaving a positive impression.

Globalization is the way countries interact with each other to develop international influence and simulate their trade. While globalization had both positive and negative impacts such as there is more peace but diseases spread easier, the postives of globalization outnumber the negatives by far. Globalization is what made our society as grown and developed as it is today, and everything has setbacks.

The negative effects of globalization are mostly about the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer due to the trade, but reality is, this has always been happening, and it's still happening to this day, and not completely because of globalization. This was a result of many other progressive movements such as industrialization. However, globalization has developed society and helped grow it to its current state. With the reduced tariffs on trade by organizations such as NATO and the WTO, poor countries were able to grow and develop because of the increased technology they were able to acquire through the trade. This increased their quality of life and made the poor "richer" in this case. Globalization also led to more world peace because countries couldn't get into as many wars if they relied on each other for trade and strengthening their economy. So overall, while globalization had some negative impacts, the positive impacts overweigh those and globalization as a whole has developed our society to where it is today.

Globalization is the process in which countries are constantly spreading their culture and ideas throughout the word. Like anything else, globalization does have some negative effects that come along with it. This includes putting pressure on certain people’s jobs and wages along with sometimes influencing politics. That being said though, all the positive outcomes of globalization, outway all the negatives.

One of the primary results of globalization is the interchanging of technology. When countries exchange their technology, it gives less developed countries the chance to become something more economically and politically. Additionally, by spreading different cultures throughout the world, you’re able to learn so much more about how people live, which can spark ideas and concepts of how to help your own daily life. Finally, globalization can also have a positive impact on jobs. With globalization, it gives people the opportunity to move from country to country to find a job that will most accompany their skill set. This creates more efficiency and is generally a positive thing. Overall, globalization has both positive and negative effects, but the positive ones will outway the negative ones.

Globalization is the increasing interactions between countries, deepening relationships, and increasing interdependence. Like everything else, globalization comes with benefits and drawbacks. While globalization has helped our society grow and develop into what it is today, it came with many drawbacks such as job insecurity and unequal benefits; it is also detrimental to the environment. These drawbacks create many conflicts that are often hard/take a lot of time and effort for humans to solve.

When it comes to globalization, it is not possible for all countries to benefit from it equally. The rich countries only get richer, while the poorer countries only get poorer. The managers, business owners, and investors get richer from globalization, but not without the hard work and labor from the workers and resources from mother nature which we are taking too much of. The UN reports that the richest 20 percent of the world's population consume 86 percent of the world's resources while the poorest 80 percent consume just 14 percent. The share between countries is unequal, and at the same time resources are being consumed too fast and our planet cannot replace them fast enough.

While free trade and trade agreements are supposed to keep order, countries do not always necessarily follow the rules of the agreement. China, for example, ignores trade rules and WTO laws with reckless abandon. No one is there to enforce the rules, and it is hard to punish an entire country, especially one as large as China. In addition, free trade is supposed to be where all barriers are eliminated, but many barriers still exist. For instance, 161 countries have value added taxes (VATs) on imports which are as high as 21.6% in Europe. Both the NAFTA and the South Korean Korus trade agreements might have been good for Wall Street and the multinational corporations, but they eliminated jobs in America and expanded its trade deficit. While globalization has helped our society advance in areas such as culture, politics, and technology, it created several problems for us; globalization creates more problems than it solves.

Gabrielle 🤬
Globalization is the process of communication and unification among people, companies, and governments on a global scale. Globalization is multifaceted and has grown due to advances in technology, communication, and transportation and has increased worldwide trade, culture, and ideas. Globalization is considered by some as having an overall negative impact, and although there are some negative effects resulting from globalization such as- it has made the rich richer while making the non-rich poorer or pushing on some worker’s jobs and wages, the overall argument of globalization positively affecting the world outweighs all the negative consequences.
Globalizations take steps towards making the economy more efficient through quick transport, mass communication, and the boosting economies by increasing and exchanging technology, which helps poorer countries have a chance in prospering. Globalization also has a positive impact on jobs, so people can go to different countries to find better jobs for their skills. Another positive impact is that Globalization has created a more unified world and made people more tolerant of each other. All these positive impacts help humanity take a step closer to creating a better place for people to live in.

Globalization has increased the spread of technology, the quality of life for many, and our relationship to other foreign people. Though globalization has its drawbacks, like the spread of disease and social injustice, the progress of the world depends on the usage of globalization.
First of all, globalization both makes all goods and services cheaper, and gets many jobs to poorer countries, helping get people out of poverty. As more and more people are buying, there is much more of a market for almost all goods, so even the most niche product can have many buyers. This creates more and more jobs for people, and can get even more people out of poverty.
Because there is great flow of goods to new places, technology and innovation can be universal and can help create one global community. This sense of unity means we can all work together help solve global problems like climate change and COVID-19, rather than countries only helping themselves. This is important for the future and the progress of the world as a whole.
This global community encourages less discrimination as we are less of individual races and sexes, but one unit. This can make the world a less hostile and judgmental place, creating more equality for minorities.
Though social injustice, pollution, and outsourcing can be problems, with global oversight and organization, these issues can be counteracted and mostly solved to create a longer lasting, happier, and more equal society with the help of globalization.

Globalization is the process by which organizations spread internationally. It has improved the quality of products, spurred international trade and cooperation, and spread culture worldwide. Through Globalization, companies can produce products cheaply in developing countries, then import them to developed nations. This international trade has led to many companies competing for market share, which caused them to improve the quality of their products. For example, The smartphone has improved from a flip phone, because companies like Apple and Samsung have been able to produce them cheaply and create better products.

Through Globalization, international trade has led to an increase in national cooperation, as if two countries are less likely to go to war if both are dependent on the other for the production of goods. Globalization has led to an international community through organizations like the EU and the UN. This community strives to achieve peace, and have stabilized states that have been at war for the last decade (Cyprus, DRC, Liberia, etc.). Before during times of warfare, nations would have to pick sides and support one of the combatants, but because of the UN, nations now try to create peace instead of escalating the conflict.

Globalization has also spread culture around the world. Good industrial practices in the UK and China have spread throughout the world to nations that are developing like Vietnam and the Dominican Republic. Movies, Cooking, Languages, and customs are now able to spread throughout the world due to globalization. The Tourism industry has grown exponentially since Globalization, people can now travel and experience different cultures because of Globalization.

Globalization has had a net positive effect on the world, it has improved the quality of production, increased international collaboration and coordination, and caused cultural proliferation.

Globalization was originally pitched to help all countries in the way of making cheaper and better goods more accessible around the world.

Overall, globalization is a good thing because it creates a system where goods and services can be bought from where the world is best at producing them and other places can begin to focus on what they can contribute to the network. Moreover, globalization creates healthy competition for businesses and firms that would not have existed otherwise, allowing better goods to be distributed across markets. Also, the spread of globalization has ended the practice of colonialism and in so doing given opportunity for these lesser developed countries to kickstart their economies.

The largest issue for me with globalization is the lack of care toward the environment.

Globalization was created as a way to help countries all around the world have access to goods in a fast and relatively cheaper way.
In my opinion, I think it has had more positive impacts than negative on the world. It works well because it is an effective system in place to help the spread of goods to many countries. It lead to the spread of new tech, goods, and cultures all around the world. It also empowered free trade for countries through trade agreements like NAFTA. Globalization also created some market competition among firms to produce more goods.
However, globalization did have some negative impacts. It did harm to the environment, because more goods were being produced and shipped around the world which spread pollution. It also caused job displacements for some and ended up spreading some diseases.
While it has its negative aspects, I believe that globalization was overall a good way to move the world forward and spread new ideas and tech.

Globalization had both a positive and negative impact on the world, though the positive outcomes far outweighed the negative. Globalization is defined as the process of interaction and integration among people, companies, and governments worldwide. As it became more and more important as time went on, globalization brought goods, foods, ideas, and peoples all over the Earth.
This helped to deepen and secure the relations between countries, and strengthen the economies of both developing and developed nations.
Despite its adverse effects, such as spread of disease and some possible destruction of culture, globalization produced many more advantageous results. It spread technology and culture, and allowed for the increase in quality of life between states. (not like states states, but nation states if that makes sense)

Globalization benefits corporations - By connecting corporations to more potential suppliers and partners the price of goods and services drops. Globalization allows many companies to reduce their price of inputs, which benefits the global economy as a whole.
Globalization also leads to decreased poverty. This can be attributed to the top corporations growth. This growth usually moves from the upper class down to the lower class. When globalization occurs everybody wins - the corporations who now have better connections, the middle class who are getting paid by the upper class, and the lower class getting paid by the middle and upper class. Globalization also raises standards of living by bringing countries newer technology and providing cheaper goods.

It makes more competition for companies which is good for the consumer and also helps the company itself. The cons of globalization are that it is a threat to national and local economies. It can displace workers and leave people unemployed.

However, globalization has many benefits too. Globalization gives corporations a competitive advantage. It helps them lower their costs of operation. They are able to open new markets and earn access to other raw materials.

Globalization is good for companies. It makes companies increase their capital margins and expand their research and innovate. It is good for consumers, as it gives them cheaper goods, allowing them to buy more things with fewer dollars.
It also spreads various cultures to different locations. This is advantageous, as it allows a more diverse cultural aspect in society. This can also be negative as it can replace current cultures/preexisting ones and harm those. Many nationalists see it as a bad thing as it is changing their society. In Conclusion, Globalization has some positive effects which heavily outweigh the negative ones.

Globalization is the international flow of certain cultural, economic, and political ideas and entities, allowing for governments, companies, and people among different nations to interact among one another. Originally, globalization was created to make global travel more efficient, and to create a system that would allow nations to exchange new and improved technology among one another. Ultimately these goals were met, some would even say they were surpassed. Some of the unexpected byproducts of globalization were, the integration and mixing of cultures, spreading of political ideology, and the increasing and decreasing value of some currencies.

For the most part, globalization positively impacts corporations, as it broadens the scale at which products can be sold at, creating a bigger market, allowing corporations to sell more products. Likewise, the consumers are also impacted positively, giving them access to a variety of different products that would otherwise not be available in their nations. Depending on how effectively a country manufactures a particular product, globalization could also positively benefit that country, because it allows for more, and possibly cheaper, variations of that product.

If taken down to a smaller scale, on the other hand, globalization could actually pose a threat to local economies consisting of family owned enterprises or small-scale farmers. When small-scale enterprises and farmers are unable to compete with lower-cost imports it could lead to an decrease in demand from those smaller enterprises and local farmers. When the demand for these local goods goes down, it could threaten the stability of those businesses, forcing them to shut down.

Globalization is the process by which nations or businesses develop international influence and operate on an international scale. Globalization mainly benefits all parties since these organizations can access more consumers and the consumers can have access to a variety of goods at cheaper prices.
Globalization does not only have to take effect on an economic scale. People can also see new cultures and how people living all around the world operate and how they conduct life in general. This can result in many positive benefits that we can add to our lives and improve our lives greatly. Overall, globalization will for the most part have positive effects on society although negative effects, such as this pandemic we are currently in the midst of, can also be present.
