Students can take sides on many of the topics we discuss. Many of our assignments require students to take a stand on a certain historical topic or issues. From here we can have students grouped and create peer review teams, have students read the alternate point of view and have all sorts of great class discussions. Redash

This allows students to have their work showcased without their classmates knowing it is them. They can claim their work if they want to, but aren't obligated to.

I would use this to discuss famous events/ people and allow students to show their opinion without having to worry about being required to speak.
