The first video I decided to share was a video that introduces what a creative brief is. The creative brief is the first important step in a campaign, which makes it important to have this guide. The main message in the video was talking about how the creative brief outlines the vital information needed to get a campaign underway.

The second video I wanted to share was how to then develop a creative brief and the best way to go about writing it. According to the video, a problem statement describes the unfavorable condition that prevents the goal or objective from being achieved. This is important to not skip over when working on your creative brief. The video also links to templates of writing a problem statement.

The third video I decided to share was another video on how to write a creative brief but this one was more direct. I am one to like shorter videos that get to the point which is what I liked about this one. This video all in all explains the understanding between a client and the agency their working with to create the basis for creative output.

The fourth video I chose was a case study that explained how to take information from how to write a creative brief, and then actually apply it. They talk about the goal, target audience, the problem, the insight, single mind proposition and the action. Having an actual creative brief example really helps understand the process more.

The last video I decided to share was a short film on creative briefs. Although it is a little longer I think their are some great insights from all types of people and their experience and techniques when it comes to writing a creative brief. There are designers, artists, architects all explaining how to get the most out of a creative brief to then go on and have a successful project.

For the first video I chose because it explains what a creative strategy is very well. Something I found interesting that I think is important for everyone to know is getting to know the business you are working with like the back of your hand. He really explains why it is a significant part of the creative strategy. Getting to know who they are as a brand gives the agency/individual a broader sense of what they need to do built the strategy.

It talks about the importance and benefits along with explaining how a creative strategy will address the concerns to others on how it will meet the goals and advertising objectives of a business.

You should be able to learn what having a large budget can do for your brand and also what to do if you do not have a large budget. It is not all about selling a product but rather an idea and this video shows how to do that.
