         <description><![CDATA[<p>The Neck is an example of a 1st class lever Load-Fulcrum-Effort. The entire head is the load. The joint between the skull and spine is the fulcrum. Lastly, the muscles at the back of the neck provide the effort.</p><p><br></p><p>For the second image, the ball of the foot is the fulcrum, the weight of the body is the load, and the calf muscles provide the effort. This is an example of a 2nd class lever Fulcrum-Load-Effort.</p><p><br></p><p>The fulcrum is the elbow joint, the effort is the bicep (which inserts after the fulcrum) and the load is the weight of the hand or anything being held. The bicep is an example of a third class lever Fulcrum-Effort-Load.</p>]]></description>
