I started off with a plain pencil to lightly outline clouds.  Then I started to use the correct colors of the sky, clouds, and bolt.  I scribbled some big parts of the clouds and the sky as it gives its shape.  Then I darkened the clouds by mixing the blue with black.  The corner of the cloud near the bolt had to be mixed into a bright shade with the outline popping out a little.  The sky  was colored and had a slight mix with the bolt. For this presentation I started off with some original pencil then to oil pastel on variety paper.  I took a picture of myself dressed as normal, I drew a picture of Chicago city on my head and face. I moved on to using the oil pastel using random colors to draw everything on the drawing. Later on I took more detail with coloring. I have all three of these pictures to show my growth on this presentation. I enjoyed doing this project because I have Chicago in my mind a lot because it is important to me, I grew up liking the place. Being careful not to pass over with the outlining of the oil pastel was a bit of a struggle.
