         <description><![CDATA[<div>The first name was “Abeqweit”,&nbsp; the Mi’kmaq made that name that meant “cradled in the waves”. Then the name changed to Ile Saint-Jean and the first French people who lived there called it that, they're the Acadians. After the Treaty of Paris it was the British's, and it was renamed St. John’s Island. Then the English changed it to Prince Edward Island in for the Duke of Kent and Strathearn, Prince Edward.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
