We had to try and create a track that could be used for a children's advert. It was confusing at first to use, I managed to get a song in the end using a guitar, grand piano, and drums. It didn't really sound like a chirkdens theme tune more like an country soung but it was my first time doi g it and I'll hopefully do better next time. Later on in the day we had to draw characters that children would like, I drew a cartoon version of Snow White we then had to put it onto photoshop and add textures to it. We went on Jayne's computer and used finale cut pro. We started with editing the cover and the first scene together, we had to make it zoom into a house and the trees and bushes move out of the way. At first we had some trouble with how to do it using the key frames we looked up how to do it first then we asked Dave to show use, he helped us do one and them we managed to do the others and it ended up going really well. After lunch we started editing together the second scene were the characters first appear, they had to run around on the screen so we used key frames again to do that. We found it a bit tricky at first and it wasn't going how we wanted it to but we managed to do it in the end. Overall I think today has gone well and we've got quite a bit of the first two scenes done. We was worried at the beginning because when we went onto finale cut pro the files were missing, we didn't know what to do at first but then we found out that we just had to re-import the files onto finale cut. Once we finished editing the first two scenes we went onto editing the audio but we came to a problem that the narration we recorded was missing to we had to go and film it agin which set us back again because we also spent time looking at SD cards to see if we could find it. Next week we are just carrying on editing.
