This is exactly what Moana did. She saw that her island was suffering and the earth was turning black because the Heart of Tafiti was stolen. Moana trusted her own intuition to try and save others even when she was told otherwise. She went on her own quest past the Great Barrier Reef to find the Heart of Tafiti and restore it where it belongs to make the island healthy again. Baby you don't know me, 'cause you're dead wrong¨ displays how not everyone is reliant on another person for the betterment of themselves, contrary to popular belief. These lyrics correlate to Emerson´s words of ¨Society is a joint-stock company in which the members agree for the better securing of his bread to each shareholder,
to surrender the liberty and culture of the eater... Self-reliance is
its aversion¨. These quotes both contain the ideas of how society and others tend to think people need one another to prosper. However, focusing on your own growth and yourself end up being the better option even though others disagree. Just because something is the popular opinion does not mean it is the best one.

However, a flood came and destroyed the land but the animals and humans that were on the Ark survived and were saved by God. Noah was told by others to divert his thinking.
