This is an example of the toddler room's planning sheet. Staff explained that they choose a relevant topic to the children that they can add into all aspects of their continuous provision for the children to explore. They do this through linking their topic to the areas of development in the EYFS that are relevant to the children's age and how this will impact the children's learning.

This is an example of how the setting plan next steps for children - this example is for a child in the toddler room. They use Ofsted's 3 I's to plan these, stating the intent, how they are going to implement it, as well as what impact this will have on the child's learning and development. The key worker also discusses this at parents'evenings so they can plan their next steps together, so they are working towards the same goal.

Once the next step has been met, it is signed off and the parents and key worker discuss a further next step.

This is an example of the medication forms we use at placement. These are to be filled out with the child's name, what medication they are on and the reason for the medication, the batch number on the bottle, and the expiry date. They are to be dated, with the time of last dose (if applicable), what dosage they are to have and what time this was given. The medicine is administered by a qualified member of staff, with another member of staff to witness. Both staff members check the batch number, and expiry date of the bottle before administering the medicine, this is then signed by the child's parents at the end of the day.
