However, I was pleasantly surprised to see the buddies being very warm and welcoming towards the MK children. They were very excited to meet them and treated them with lots of kindness and support as the MK children participated in the activities. The MK children warmed up to them very quickly and easily.

However most of them seem to get along well and looked after their buddies well.

My perception completely changed when I saw how P1 Care class teachers were willing to work hand in hand with me to accommodate to the MK children (putting them with their buddies according to the name list, ensuring they were comfortably seated together and providing ample of opportunities for MK children to also take part in the class activities).

The P1 curriculum seems to be manageable for the children to follow (even though some may need more time as they were not paying attention). The class teachers, Mdm Freda and Ms Ang definitely did their best to plan activities that were safe and also developmentally appropriate for our MK children.

I was glad that things went rather smoothly. Most of the children in 1R2 were thoughtful and took good care of our MK children.
