Then stepan asked her to take the laundry to the laundry mat but there was a twist: she had to get a newspaper from the laundry mat that was telling people what was really going on. She had got the papers and got on the streetcar and was about to spread the papers but then two German soldiers got on the streetcar. They sat right across from her. The next stop came and Lisa was about to get up and then the streetcar turned and she threw up on them both. All of a sudden the Germans saw what was in her bag and she ran off and the people on the streetcar blocked the Germans from getting to her. Then she got on three other street cars and spread the newspapers on the bus floor. When she got there she told Stefan everything and she said that the look on the soldiers faces were priceless.
why i liked the book

I liked the book because it was interesting to learn about and what happened in the world war II. To also see what teenagers were doing kids my age were having to kill soilders or even see their loved ones die. I feel like this story was a good repersention of what happend during world war II. the fact that the author could put so much detail into this book and tell us pretty much what was happening during the war.The book was entertaning and i also learned alot. It was also cool to see how they survied and how they got over to sweeden and how they had to ration food.I think the author did a good job covering pretty much all the elements of what happend during the war and it almost feels like youre in the book and during some of the book i felt shivers down my spine.Overall i think this book was really good and i would want to read it again.
