The mom seemed calmer than the dad but they both seemed a little scared  but when Lisa walked into the kitchen to grab stefans lunch she saw  her mom crying.

Erik didn't really care.

I gave my father, who is a doctor, the advice that instead of treating the natzis as regular patients he should treat them with the wrong medicine. But now I'm kinda regretting it because now if my father gets caught we could be in a lot of trouble and be sent to a prison and might even be killed. I’m very scared and might have almost gotten him killed. I feel like its my fault because I  said something i shoulnt have.It was not my place to say anything and i feel like i shouldn't have said anything. I feel butterflies inside my stomach everytime my dad leaves for work thinking my dad is not going to come back because of me. 

Abby, please help me and you seem like the kind of person that can please help and tell me what I need to do. Please get back to me as fast as you can. I'm not thinking straight, Abby, please help me.

lisa tells stefan and eric what happened and erik got all flushed and upset and stormed off and erik told him that his anger issues would get to him one day.

it was the baby at sitting with the mom that the dad had brought home because the mother was killed by the germans so they took the kid in. 

her parents died in a explosion and she was in the hospital and was burned very badly 

It was her motivation because her parents died in the explosion and wanted to get back at them. 

“A chill runs down my spine. My God, I think, these Germans are dragging us all down to their level. How will we keep ourselves better than them?” (p. 46)

In your own words tell what does Lisa mean by this and what is she concerned about? (4)

She is concerned because she doesn't want everyone to turn into the Germans and they are starting to kill like the Germans and are trying to get revenge. but they are slowly starting to become worse than them because of them trying to get revenge. 

lisa is dreaming about a bee but she is actually hearing the planes flying above her house and the bombs vibrating the ground. She is dreaming about the bees but in reality she's feeling her house shaking from the soldiers blowing up places.

she is thinking how if those people hadn't been on that  bus she could have died. She is worried that it might happen again and that those people might not be on the bus if anything like that happens again and she might be killed.

She thinks that these germans are dragging everyone down because people are starting to kill others because the germans are driving everyone nuts.

lisa doesn't want to be a jew and feels like people are only worried about her because she's a jew.

I almost laugh. The rabbi going on holiday on Rosh Hashanah?

Then it hits me.” (p.62)

she realizes that the Germans are coming and trying to find every single jew and are going to kill them and she realizes that the person warned them not to go to the synagogue. 

Lisa went to her house and got sarahle and packed up all her important stuff in a laundry bag.she started to call all the jewish people in the phone book for about three hours and a lot of them didn't believe her. Then she went to her dad's hospital to wait for her mother. Her dad was telling Lisa that she was going to say that her mother and stefan were going to be new admissions and are going to go into the psychotic wing because it's empty. 

Lisa and her family have been there for 2 days now and they found out that germans have raided their houses and erick found out that his parents probably have been found. New people had come to the hospital. The nurses tell everyone to pack up and get ready and she's putting warm clothes on. Groups of 15 go into each ambulance. They are at the cost and are high in the bushes but the germans are everywhere. They are waiting for the boat to come and get them.something has happened to the boats so they have to go up to a house on a hill. The fisherman who was supposed to take them wanted more money. Stefan is asking Lisa to stay and portal the area to make sure the Germans aren't finding out. Lisa wants to stay and patrol the road. The mother steps in and gives Lisa the decision and she is going to stay. Lisa and jesper just killed 2 soldiers because they were about to find out what they were using that boat for.
