The influence of Korean beauty culture in the world has continued to expand in recent years. Since the early 1990s, K-pop music produced and exported by large Korean entertainment companies has become popular in Asia, even the world, which lays a good foundation for the widespread of Korean beauty culture (Seo al et., 2020, p.601), as well as attracts more people's interest in the process. Actually, K-beauty is a global beauty culture formed after the integration of Asian and Western popular cultures triggered by the Korean Wave. Moreover, it possesses a profound cultural significance. There is no doubt that it has become a standard in a field this with the support and spread of social media.

Content analysis is a great method to delve into the beauty of female in K-pop music videos. Music videos of representative Korean girl groups from 2019 will be analyzed. Content analysis will help to clearly present and interpret the ideal of K-beauty. The reason why I chose K-pop music video as the object of analysis is that the influence of K-pop's has expanded to the world. To be more specific, the perfect appearance and exquisite makeup of female idols aroused many young female's curiosity about K-beauty. There is no doubt that K-pop music videos are suitable objects that can intuitively express the cultural characteristics of K-beauty. After coding the collected information and data, I will analyze it to get the most common characteristics. The most significant element is to find out the commonalities and differences of different girl groups, in order to reflect the characteristics of K-beauty. In addition, as a cultural construction, the connotation of beauty from the perspective of appearance will be discovered.

The members of the girl groups were confident when they performed and had enough eye contact with the camera. The dancing styles of some groups in the music videos are powerful, which blend with their natural and clear makeup; cute and innocent expressions; and sexy costumes without any sense of contradiction, in order to show the contrasting beauty of K-beauty. However, different groups have different styles, as well as show the charm of K-beauty in various aspects.

Overall, the members of K-pop girl groups have a combination of cuteness and sexy in appearance, and pack beauty by wearing gorgeous clothes. Moreover, the brands and styles of clothing and cosmetics borrow elements from Western culture and beauty. In terms of connotation, the sense of self-confidence as female, as well as the personal charm displayed through dance and singing, also fully reflects the beauty of young Korean women. Thus it can be seen that K-beauty is not only an expression of Korean femininity, but also the globalization of beauty culture (Seo al et., 2020).
