[Referrals to the DBS,2021]&nbsp;<br>A referral is information which is sent to the DBS about an individual which tells the DBS any concerns they have that the individual might be causing harm or putting adults or children at risk of being harmed. It is important in HSC to ensure that the professionals are DBS checked and any which show signs of mistreating patients are referred to the DBS so that they can ensure they are giving their patients the best care they can and making sure they are safe.
