Deb Randall of Grace UMC Gaithersburg and Emily Sama-Miller of Faith UMC Rockville are among the active volunteers in this volunteer-run organization.


NNIA is in urgent need of donations to help refugee families who are already here cover rent and food, reducing their risk of homelessness. Recent policy changes mean that these new neighbors rapidly lost or will lose access to a range of publicly funded supports which increases the need for private support for these families.


Beyond cash to cover basic needs, other needs include donated cars for people to get to work or job training, and dollars for mattresses (no used mattresses).
