- College of Technology provide courses in engineering field, merchant shipping which lasts for 5 years.
High School is for students aged 15 to 18.
It’s not compulsory. 
High schools may be classified into one of the following types:

- to enter a university the students have to take two exams:
- first one is a national achievement test
- second one given by the University itself.
Students who failed the test will take another year to study and prepare to take the test again. These students are called Ronin. Originally it meant Samurai with no lord or master.
Each academic year has 2 semesters which starts in April.
