La Estepeña is a very well-known mantecados factory. It is located in Spain exactly in the steppe and the only thing I can say is that they are delicious and I love them. There are many types of mantecados, for example, Polvorones, Puff Pastry, Bonbon, etc

In addition to his work as a theologian, Basil was known for his care of the poor and underprivileged. Together with Pachomius, he is remembered as a father of communal monasticism in Eastern Christianity. He is considered a saint by the traditions of both Eastern and Western Christianity.

In Greek tradition, Basil brings gifts to children every 1 January (St Basil's Day). It is traditional on St Basil's Day to serve vasilopita, a rich bread baked with a coin inside. The tradition is attributed to St. Basil, who when a bishop, wanted to distribute money to the poor and commissioned some women to bake sweetened bread, in which he arranged to place gold coins. Thus the families in cutting the bread were pleasantly surprised to find the coins.

Vasilopita (Greek: Βασιλόπιτα, Vasilópita, lit. '(St.) Basil-pie' or 'Vassilis pie', see below) is a New Year's Day bread, cake or pie in Greece and many other areas in eastern Europe and the Balkans which contains a hidden coin or trinket which gives good luck to the receiver, like the Western European King Cake. It is associated with Saint Basil's day, January 1, in most of Greece, but in some regions, the traditions surrounding a cake or pita with a hidden coin are attached to Epiphany or to Christmas.

Aristotelous Square is considered the most important Christmas Market in the city, As it's the tradition in Christmas Markets, you will find an assortment of Christmas trinkets and souvenirs, tree decorations, lights, and delicious treats — do not forget that Thessaloniki has the reputation of being the city that produces the best sweets and desserts in the country!

Children will love the variety of activities devoted to them, while teens and young visitors enjoy the concerts and other musical performances often held in the evenings. 

There are also many other spots, such as Ladadika and Asterokosmos or Christmas villages. Even in the small neighbourhoods all over Thessaloniki one comes across stunning Christmas decorations, lights, and trees that give the city its special Christmas atmosphere.
