My name is Tarik Munaier, and this is a brief part of my story. I was born in 1991 in Belo-Horizonte-MG, and since then have lived in Fortaleza-CE, Florianopolis-SC and currently in Curitiba-PR.
I graduated in Advertising Production Technologies during the time I lived in Florianopolis, and slaved worked as a Graphic Producer for several years after. At some point along the way I realized the Advertising business coudn`t quite fulfill my career aspirations, so when my family moved to Curitiba in 2014, I decided it was time for me to try a different career choice. Long story short, I`ve worked at the local paper Gazeta do Povo as a graphic expert, and achieved to start the Business Administration course at Federal University of Parana, in 2015. June this year I got laid off from the paper, and currently intend to enhance my qualifications during this semester, hoping I can start a good internship next year.

Iceland has the oldest parlament in the world, with over a thousand years. It has survived many changes since it's stablishment in 930. Nowadays the icelandic parlament has 63 members, and since the 2016 election the third most representative political party is the Pirate Party.

2 - Midnight Sun
Due to it's proximity to the Arctic Circle (wich actually crosses Iceland at its northernmost), the country holds a very curious phenom: in the summer, the sun sets at midnight, and rises shortly after, around 3am. On the other hand, the days in winter are extremely short, and the nights seem to be endless.

3 - Volcano Activity
The island have over 125 volcanic mountains, of wich some are still active. The country experiences an average one volcanic eruption every four years.

4 - The hidden people
A significant share of icelanders believe in the existence of fantastic beigns, such as elves and trolls: the Hidden People (Huldufólk). Infrastructure projects are often delayed or even modified when the possible harm in the regions that the Hidden People are believed to live are taken under consideration.

5 - Book Boomers
Iceland has the highest number of books written, published and read per capita in the world. Statistics point that one in every ten icelanders will publish a book in its lifetime.

Teenagers who attend high school are a few steps away from becoming independent adults, and learning financial responsibility may go a long way in their lives. Studies conducted by the Jumpstart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy and the National Longitudinal Survey of Youth have shown that a large number of teens know little about finance and economics, and end up spending and borrowing money without fully understand the interests that build up. Also, it’s important to educate the next generation of adults, since in average 1 out of 5 Americans declares bankruptcy, according the USA Today, whom are becoming increasingly younger each year. Another important learning for teenagers is on how to properly save money. In general, people start saving money at older ages than their parents, what may be very concerning regarding their retirement plans and ability to provide for a family.
