Media used in the exhibition:
installation, documentary, illustration, photography. 

Purpose of the exhibition:
to raise awareness of an issue which the majority might not yet been concerned and noticed by using his passion of art and connections with friends who were having the same attitude towards the issue.

What I saw in the exhibition:
there were four main artwork displayed, with strong visual and auditory effects. the artwork were The Net, Mourning, Smoke, and Illumination.

What I liked about the exhibition:
the artist Feng Fang is a perfect example of purposeful doer and connected learner. he said in his documentary that he liked birds when he was young, since he studied in a traditional art school and bird it is a common object for painting practice. he cared about what he loves and used his creativity and ability to make an impact on the society and bring changes to the world. he included both abstract and realist style with multi ways of expression. in this way, it is easier for people to understand and build connections.

There are serval elements I really liked in that exhibition. Firstly, I think the topic he chose is very powerful and meaningful  itself. He brought the whole thing to another level by adding lights, sounds, smoke, nets and other things like video clips to engage with the audience more. These are some of the elements I might also add in my exhibition.

The use of sounds and the visual documentary further helped the better understanding of the art installation as they were closely correlated. It was good to know how the author was motivated to create the art pieces based on the certain theme of bird. He splits the show intro four different sections. It begins with a comparatively smaller sculpture with a painting. Then people can go through a place full of radiations and bones, which creates the tension of the death of birds with video clips presented.
