Part 1:
1. I believe that Star is innocent. She had multiple people with her at all times and didn't know Roger at all. She wasn't near the fountain at any point in time. In my mind, I believe that Star couldn't have killed Roger.
2. Sarah is also innocent. She had a crush on Roger, and was waiting for him in the rose display. Why would Sarah kill her crush? Sarah was waiting for Roger to ask her to prom, there's no possible way she killed him.
Part 2:
Personally, I believe Kirk was the red herring. Many people had rumors about him wanting to get back at Roger for "accidentally" falling into Kiara's lap or hitting on her. When talking to Kirk, you see that he cared more about how Kiara saw him rather than getting back at Roger. He was set up to seem like he'd kill Roger.

The guilty person is Melissa. She knew Roger the best, being his cousin. Melissa only cared about the scholarship money she'd have to split with Roger. If she killed Roger then she would get all of the money for herself. Melissa is truly the only one who had a solid vendetta against Roger.

Part 1:
1. Starr
I know Starr is innocent because she was with me practicing Romeo and Juliet with Denise and I on the picnic tables. She had to witnesses to her alibi and she had no part in any of Rodger's life due to theater and had no knowledge of him. According to her general information she had no motivation to kill him either.
2. Molly
I know Molly is innocent because she was in the cafeteria with Charlotte, Lenny, Dennis, Shawn, meaning her alibi lined up and she had eye witnesses to back her up. Rodger and her were slightly friends and had no conflicts with each other that would influence a murder.
Part 2:
The red herring: Kirk being jealous of Rodger flirting with Kiarah, his girlfriend.
It seemed important because if he was anxious of Rodger taking his girl, it would be a strong motive for a murder. It was not a clue because he was in the cafeteria with other classmates to confirm his position. With his hot head, it would lead people towards him to think of him as the one to kill for his girl friend, but this was a decoy.
Part 3:
The guilty person is Melissa.
Her motivation is the college tuition that her grandmother is splitting between her cousin, Rodger, and herself. She believes she should get all the scholarship because she worked harder in school. Her alibi was that she was outside the bathroom waiting for Jeff and then left because he was taking to long in the bathroom. However, when she left the bathroom, nobody was there to account were she went directly. Ralph saw ran into her momentarily and supposedly she had a "weird face." Melissa also kept talking about her grandmother sickness avoiding some questions asked. While her grandmother was being selfless, Melissa was selfish and wanted all the money for herself and had to do whatever she needed to get her way.

Her motive was that her grandmother was sick, and going to split tuition money between her and Roger. Melissa was jealous because she had to split the money, so she killed Roger to have it all for herself. She was Roger's cousin, and used the fact that his death would shock her grandmother, and possibly give her a heart attack. She also said that she was waiting for Jeff to get out of the bathroom, but he was taking too long, and she started to wander around the exhibition hall alone. Melissa was the only one with a valid motive to kill Roger.

Innocent #1: Dennis
Dennis was best friends with Roger; it is obvious that Dennis wouldn't do an atrocity towards his best friend, Roger
Innocent #2: Jeff
Jeff was in the bathroom, doing his business. He also doesn't know Roger and has no motivation to kill him.
Red Herring: Kirk
Kirk is a hothead and has difficulties controlling his anger. This made him seem like he would be the one to kill Roger for hitting on his girlfriend, Kiara. Although Kirk gets very mad very fast, he'd never hurt anyone.
Guilty: Melissa
There was interior motivation with Melissa. She was angry that her Grandma was splitting tuition between her and her cousin, Roger. Melissa wanted all of the tuition to pay for her college. Somehow, this motivation was enough to get her to kill her own cousin. Melissa played out the murder by insisting that Jeff uses the bathroom, in order to distract Jeff from what she was going to do. Melissa said that she waited for Jeff in the maze, but Jeff wasn't near the maze. This sets off an alarm, telling us that Melissa killed Roger in the center of the maze, while she left Jeff in the bathroom.

1) Myself, Lenny Long, is innocent. I was studying with Kiara. Then I was in the Cafe with Charlotte.
2)Charlotte was also innocent as she was in the Cafe the whole. First with Molly and Dennis. Then later Lenny Long
Part II
The Red Herring for me was Kirk. He had previous beef with Rodger because Rodger fell asleep on Kiara's lap. He was also stated as the extremely jealous type.
This was not a clue though because he was waiting and seen waiting for Kiara at the museum.
Part III
The guilty person is Melissa. She had previously had to split the tuition money Rodger and her ware given by their grandma. She knew that if she took him out that she would get all that money, which she thought she deserved as she tried harder in school, so she murdered him. Her terrible and quickly thought out alibi was that she was waiting for Jeff outside of the bathroom. However, that alibi proved to be false. When Jeff exited the bathroom Melissa was gone. Melissa is Rodger's murderer.

1.) Star is innocent because she was with Denise and I rehearsing for the play when Roger was killed.
2.) Denise is also innocent she was with Star and I rehearsing for the play when the murder occurred.
A red herring was Kirk being mad at Roger for flirting with Kiara. At first it sounded like he might have been the killer, but then Kirk said that Kiara doesn't like violence so if he did fight Roger she would break up with him which is the opposite of what he wants to happen.
The guilty person is Melissa. Her and Roger never got along very well, and Roger came to town to help take care of their Grandmother. Melissa wanted her grandma to pay for her college tuition and she was going to, but then Roger came and was going to get half of the tuition money that was for her. Melissa was mad about this so she killed Roger to get all of the money to pay for her college again. Her alibi was that she was with Jeff and was waiting for him while he was in the bathroom, but Jeff said that when he got out of the restroom Melissa was gone. This leaves Melissa with a clear motive and no alibi which help supports that Melissa is the killer.

Also, she had no known motive to kill Roger.

2.) Carli is also innocent. I know this because she claimed to not know Roger and was with Star and Denise, who vouch for her innocence.

A red herring would be Kirk. Everything pointed to him being the murderer, mostly because he had pushed Roger around in cooking class and also threatened him earlier. However, he only did that due to his short-temper and jealousy towards other guys who talk to Kiara. Also, Kirk threatened Roger not to do something again, which he didn't ruling out any motive.

The guilty person is Melissa. I know this because she had been jealous that she had to share college tuition with Roger, who is her cousin. In an act of pure greed, she decided to dispose of Roger in order to have his part of the inheritance all for herself. Jeff can back up the claim that she was nowhere to be seen; he said that when he came out of the bathroom, she was not where she said she was and it took him time to find her. All of this evidence points to Melissa being the true culprit of the act

It seemed important because, it appeared like Kirk was going to kill Roger It's not a clue though because Kirk was in the cafe where a bunch of people could see him.
The guilty one though was Melissa. She was seen looking startled by Ralph. Not only that she's really the only one who is constantly mentioned of hating Roger. My last piece of evidence is Melissa wanted the tuition money all to herself, therefore having more than enough motive then some jealous teenage boy.

This was not an actual clue because Kirk was in the cafe and others saw him to prove his whereabouts so he couldn't have possibly killed Roger.
-Guilty person ( Melissa)
Melissa is the guilty person because she wanted Roger out of the way so her grandmother would pay for her tuition fully, I know this because she said she would do anything to get into good college and she said she deserves it more than he did. Denise- She was innocent because she claimed to barely know Roger; she was also with Star and Carli at the time of the murder.
Part 2: The Red Herring
The red herring was the idea that Kirk wanted to get back at Roger for falling asleep on Kiara. This seemed important because Kirk would have had the motivation to murder Roger. Kirk also mentioned getting back at Roger for what he did. It was not a clue because Kiara had said that she didn't like violence; Kirk clearly kept this in mind and chose not to fill his threat towards Roger.
Part 3: The Guilty
The guilty person was Melissa. She killed Roger because she wanted all the tuition money from her grandmother. Her and Roger would have had to split the money if she wouldn't have killed him. However, this was proven false as Kiara said she didn't like violence.
The Culprit
The culprit in my eyes was Roger's own cousin, Melissa. As she told me herself, she and Roger were both to inherit tuition money from their grandmother. Both of which were to receive the same amount of money. Melissa felt as though she deserved more than Roger because she had better grades. This was the perfect incentive for her to get rid of him, so she could claim the entirety of the tuition money for herself. Lacie Costello - Charlotte Kim
Lacie Costello - Charlotte Kim
Part 1:

First off, I believe it is obvious that Carli is innocent. She had multiple people with her rehearsing Romeo and Juliet which proves the integrity of her alibi. Along from this, she barely knows Roger and has no bad blood with him.
Secondly, I would like to point out that Charlotte did in fact find Lenny and was probably too busy with band to plan an assassination of someone she barely knew.
As for the red herring in this scenario, I believe that was me, Kirk. I can say that I didn't exactly have a great opinion of Roger because of his relations with my girlfriend. However, what people don't realize is that Kiara would never date someone who is violent. Therefore I would never had jeopardized my relationship by inflicting harm on someone.
I believe that the one at fault for the killing is Melissa. She mentioned that she would have to split her college money from her grandma with Roger. This is the closest anyone got to having a motive. Along with this, she confided in her friend Carli that she thought Roger was a jerk. Therefore, it should be clear that Melissa is the killer.
