I do not know if this is the best technology for a ELA class, but Google Docs or Word Docs. Any of these apps can be used to write essays. I use them constantly and they have greatly helped me write essays and take notes. Kids in all grades can use google docs because it is an easy app students can access for free. I also like these apps because docs can be shared between students. Teachers can also send students docs and vice versa. Overall, I like these apps because they are free and easy to use.

I believe that there is no single “best” technological tool to be used in any one classroom, I do think that the invention of autocorrecting software has certainly been one of the most helpful creations in the Language Arts world. Not only can it identify spelling and grammar mistakes to explain to students exactly why it believes a replacement should occur, but it can also suggest better-sounding synonyms to help strengthen the security of student essays.

I believe that powerpoint is one of the best tools for Language arts. I'm not sure exactly if its the best but I'm for sure that it is very helpful. In all classes there is a reason that they all use power point that is because it is a easy way to share what you need the students to know without even being around them.
