1. The dam will decrease availability of fish for fishing purposes
2. Tourism will decrease due to less or no recreational water sports operating in the area. 
3. Water quality decreases due to water flow impediment from dam. 
4. Fish passages as a remedy are not sufficient to bring back enough of the fish population for enough recreational or fishing uses.

To this end, we are open to partnering with the government on upgrading our existing technology for the purposes of maintaining power production output volume while decreasing the number of dams needed or the amount of time the turbines need to be active (replacing existing turbines with more efficient versions).

We would also be interested in deploying a watershed-wide smart system across all our dams to coordinate water releases to mimic natural river flows, but will require subsidies/funding assistance to meet desirable timelines (which we can work with the various stakeholder groups on establishing).
