Discipline: Short story

Summary
The story was between two men: Pete, the young poor man, and an old gentleman. Pete got a chance to have Thanksgiving meal with two old ladies. However, he had a "promise" that he was going to have the meal with the old gentleman. So, Pete kept his promise even he was already full. Meanwhile, the old gentleman was poor during that time. He could not afford good food, but he still offered the meal by using his last pennies.

Response
The story taught me a lesson that a promise is very powerful. In my life, I should always keep my promises. It is not only few words, it is a commitment that I have to follow.
