Even if your classroom doesn't have a smartboard there are still ways to in-cooperate technology into your class. Most schools have televisions and computers for teachers to use in the classroom but also keep in my what technology that students have access to use. This will either add more options for you to use or limit the text technology you can use.

You will definitely still be able to use technology. One thing about teachers is that they are very creative, and this is where that comes in handy. An idea that always comes to my mind when answering these questions is to talk to other teachers. For example teachers who have been teaching for 20+ years. I actually came across a blog where a teacher discusses what she did to incorporate technology into the classroom, before she had all the gadgets. http://organizedclassroom.com/using-smart-board-files-without-a-smart-board/

I would have to agree with most everyone else. Most classrooms, even if they do not have a Smart Board at least have a projector and white board, so it works in almost the same manner. You just have to adjust some to what you are given.
