He barley had any money from just returning from vacation but he was determined to take me out. Curtis had a free movie ticket and scrambled up a few dollars for a second one and we went and saw a movie together. His love langue is words, so I make sure to tell him every day how much he means to me. My love language is receiving gifts, so every week Curtis surprises me with flowers on a random day. We both grew up around toxic marriages and refuse to bring our future kids up that way. I am a lot to handle at times, and sometimes it seems like it may be easier to throw in the towel and give up all together. In the next few years we plan on getting married and both eventually want to start a family. I am currently in school working on my BSN and he is looking into joining a union for electrical work. You think you will wake up to breakfast in bed and everything will be perfect. Well, I'm here to tell you, you are wrong. Living with your partner is arguing over whose turn it is to do dishes, it's listening to them snore all night and moving to the couch so you can atleast get some sleep, its them eating the whole box of poptarts you both JUST BOUGHT before you could even have one.
